why aren't we allowed to talk about the VT shooting? - BLINGMW - 04-16-2007 I was hoping to hear from some of the VT car club guys and see if they were alright. - Nick325is - 04-16-2007 The thread turned into something it wasn't intended to be. If people wanted to start a discussion about concealed carry then it can be its own thread. Not to mention that there were several innappropriate comments made. -Nick - WRXtranceformed - 04-16-2007 Relax Nick, we all have friends down there and are concerned for them. Making some light out of a shitty situation is how some people help ease their own tension and worry. No reason for anyone to get butthurt over what was said. - BLAIR - 04-16-2007 32 dead now.. SO SAD - WRXtranceformed - 04-16-2007 Link me where you're seeing 32, CNN is telling me it's still 21 + 20ish injuries. - G.Irish - 04-16-2007 Washingtonpost.com - WRXtranceformed - 04-16-2007 Word, thanks Blair. - HAULN-SS - 04-16-2007 msnbc just posted "Govt. Official says: 31 dead" - HAULN-SS - 04-16-2007 btw, CNN has been behind all day - they are pretty much going by university press releases it seems, not all sources - Kaan - 04-16-2007 Nick325is Wrote:The thread turned into something it wasn't intended to be. I made a comment... and you can go fuck yourself. because when i worked on campus i was involved in a confrontation with a fire arm... suprise... i didnt actually have the gun... it was a non student! Pull your thong out of your ass and push the kerosine rag up a little farther. This is Madison Icy Hot Stunnas forum haven't you heard? They need to be coddled and babied and can't be bothered with hard hitting news such as this  now the discussion can go down a totally different path. - HAULN-SS - 04-16-2007 msnbc.com has a live video feed by the way - not just clips. Guy from one of the rooms that was getting shot up is talking right now. Kaan, I am not going to resort to name calling to vent my frustration on the matter. Think about your wording before you post. You imply that you wished this had happened here so that you could've had a part in it. Thats not the mentality that someone in law enforcement should have. -Nick - G.Irish - 04-16-2007 Nick325is Wrote:He said that because he wishes he could've done something about it. It sucks when you see a situation that hit close to home that you cannot or couldn't have done something about it. Maybe it didn't come off sounding the way he meant it but nobody in public service wants to see something happen on their block and not have had a chance to do something.Kaan Wrote:Nick325is Wrote:The thread turned into something it wasn't intended to be. That being said, Kaan's first post in other thread was VERY misleading, and seemed sadistic. I'm sure that's why Nick reacted the way he did, because I was appalled at first, too. Not more than a handful of people that browse this forum could've possibly known that he used to do the law enforcement thing at JMU. - Kaan - 04-16-2007 and once again i've had posts deleted and saved for postarity in an out of context quote in the locked thread. and people wonder why i get into personal attacks. - JustinG - 04-16-2007 according to MSNBC, the guy had to of had this planned. The exits of the building were chained, and according to students from the classroom, he walked in with no bookbag or books and had no expression on his face and just started shooting his 9mm. |
