Here's an internet game that actually requires that you use your brain. It's pretty tough (I think) even if you're good at spacial problems and probably impossible if you're not. The premise is to make your "house" match all three perspectives using only the number of blocks given. A little green dot will appear next to the problem number when you match the picture and it will turn yellow when you've done it in the proper number of blocks. I'd recommend NOT starting with 1 as I think that was the hardest. I actually had fun playing this teaser but I'm fairly sick in the head. Enjoy.

lol, i knew there was a pattern to the first one. I spent about 35 minutes on it just now, tryin gevery pattern I could think of - and once i thought of the winner, it was like a lightbulb went off!

You spent 35 minutes on the first one?

- JohnC - 04-12-2007

That was fun.

Do you go through the same process when you tie your shoes in the morning?

- HAULN-SS - 04-12-2007

haha..i don't want to hear any shit from anyone about thinking spatially until you've taken a course on knot theory.

Well, I don't want to hear anyone talking about working on cars unless you're ASE certified.

my point being don't get all high and mighty acting like you solved it like some kind of autistic prodigy. Maybe I was wong but that seemed to be your tone when you phrased something in a question, that was answered in the part you quoted. If you want, I can throw up some puzzlers that you probably wouldn't even know where to begin with.

- REED - 04-12-2007

so apparently i suck at this, i got the first one down to 14. i want to see the answers

Start with 6, 7 or 8... I thought they were the easiest.

Of course I did them in order so 1 really pissed me off.

Lets have 'em.

- HAULN-SS - 04-12-2007

I'll look online to see if I can find them online, if not I may have to sketch up a few things.

Ditto, 9 was a bitch and 1 is still pissing me off!

- Sijray21 - 04-12-2007

i solved them all in about 30 minutes, it's a little like 3-D sudoku

Focus on the minimum number of blocks required for each vertical level... That finally made the answer clear to me...

Agreed. You have to think of everything on 3 axes and once you train yourself to do that everything falls into place pretty quickly.

Here's 1:

Dear Derek,

Fuck you.
