That's awesome. Today they'd just billy club his ass and take him in. Technically police don't have to read you your rights unless they want to question you. If your just being a dumb drunk in public and raising hell they can arrest you on the spot without reading you your rights.

That was hilarious, that dude wasn't taking any shit from them, but 80s cops seem really nice. It seems like in more recent videos the instant you touch a cop, drunk or not they beat your ass.
Kind of reminds me, a couple of nights ago some girl got arrested behind my dorm for drunk in public, but she was literally screaming at the police as if she was being attacked, crying for help etc....I had no idea WTF was going on and actually thought some girl was in trouble until I saw the cops subduing her and putting her in the back of a police car. Craziness
