I think i just found a new car.... - JustinG - 04-04-2007 I WANT ONE!!! Have i just been living in a hole? Cause i never knew this existed. 1995 3000GT VR4 Spyder, apparently only 877 VR4 Spyders were made in 95-96. ![]() <!-- m --><a class="postlink" href="http://www.3000gtspyder.com/spyder/gallery_jeffs_spyder.htm">http://www.3000gtspyder.com/spyder/gall ... spyder.htm</a><!-- m --> - JackoliciousLegs - 04-04-2007 So instead of weighing 5000lbs, it comes in at a sprightly 5500 - JustinG - 04-04-2007 i don't care, it is pimp, but a quick auto trader search shows them all in CA and going for around 28-31k. I still want one though And it only was 4025 lbs thank you and a 65k MSRP
- HAULN-SS - 04-04-2007 Weight is a problem easily overcome =) I like it too - too bad they are so expensive - CaptainHenreh - 04-04-2007 Why not just drive a
- D_Eclipse9916 - 04-04-2007 OMG how did you not know about these 10 years ago. It was one of the first hardtop convertibles. It didnt sell well conwsidering its 60k price tag new. So they dropped it. - JustinG - 04-04-2007 yea i never knew...but then again i dont really research on 3kgts - WRXtranceformed - 04-04-2007 D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:OMG how did you not know about these 10 years ago. - JustinG - 04-04-2007 THEY ARE STILL PIMP - HAULN-SS - 04-04-2007 I thought all those vr4's were way expensive when they were new eh? - WRXtranceformed - 04-04-2007 I do like that car, so don't get me wrong, but I thought this was pretty funny from that guy's site: "The engine is stock except for a K&N air filter and the TWIN TURBO spark plug cover which, to the best of my knowledge, adds no horsepower but looks nice." Ha ha ha ha - Goodspeed - 04-04-2007 ![]() 99 VR4 is where its at. Just look at that wing. Jesus - JustinG - 04-04-2007 went from around $30k in 1991 upto around $45k by 1999. I dont think you can get a AWD TT V6 for any cheaper, during the time. Considering the TT 300 was starting at like $35k in 91, its a bargain. - Beej - 04-04-2007 The only car that's ever scared me is my buddy's 500whp VR4 (that is being redone for more than that). But goddamn, they weigh a TON. Can't believe Spyders actually still go for that much cash. I've seen a video of the top going down before, it took like ten minutes (or at least 30 seconds, which is retarded). - PDenbigh - 04-04-2007 D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:It was one of the first hardtop convertibles. You mean for DSM or overall? - Mike - 04-04-2007 ew ew ew. and that is all... - D_Eclipse9916 - 04-04-2007 the 45k price tag was for a bare-bottom vr-4 hardtop. Not the convertible. The convertible was much more expensive. Also 3kgt is nto a dsm pete, but yes, it is one of the first hardtop convertibles aside from the fairlane? Or whatever that car was. - BLAIR - 04-04-2007 nice chrome wheels ricer. at least with a convertable your hair can blow in the wind while everything thinks to themselfs nice girl car - PDenbigh - 04-04-2007 D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:Also 3kgt is nto a dsm pete, but yes, it is one of the first hardtop convertibles aside from the fairlane? Or whatever that car was. Ah, sorry. I thought all Mitsu's were considered DSM's. That's why I'm a Ford guy I guess ;-). Just to enlighten, there are a few old cars had retractable hardtops (more may exist): # Ford Fairlane Skyliner (1957-1959) # Gaylord (1956) # Lincoln Continental 1967 # Ford Thunderbird (1958-1960) Some of the old T-birds had radios that increase volume with speed too. Enough Hikjacking, cool cars. I think you need a gullwing. - JustinG - 04-04-2007 hehe gaylord |
