FS -- BMW M50B25 Motor Swap Kit - 2500 OBO - CaptainHenreh - 04-02-2007

Well children, it's a bittersweet day. As much as RJ wants me to finish the M50 swap on the BMW, I just don't have the heart for it. I'm going to keep the E30, but the M50 swap just has no power over me. A M20 stroker would be a good winter project, and it might be fun anyhow, so I'm going to sell my M50 stuff.

What you'll get:
1995 BMW M50 Single Vanos OBDI, 150,xxx miles, good compression. Being from an E34, it has the proper oil sump and pan already. Complete from throttle body to oil pan.
Full wiring harness.
All six coils.
ECU (Not EWS)
MAFS
Plastic valve cover cover and injector cover
NIB Late E28 535i motor mounts
M50 Starter (used)
M50 alternator (used)
E36 Mounting arms
E36 Transmission
E36 Throttle Cable
NIB Transmission mounts
NIB Sachs Clutch Kit (for Dual Mass Fly)
Never-used dual mass M50 flywheel
New valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, rear main seal, rear main seal cover gasket
New metal impeller water pump,
New Metal thermostat housing
Ebay Stainless long tube headers

If any MMer wants it, I can maybe cut you a deal. If anyone you know wants it...well, this is pretty much what I have in it. You'll pay this for an S50 easily, and then you'll have to do all of the extra shit. This is everything you need to install an M50 into a E30 chassis, the only thing you'd need to figure out is your driveshaft and wiring.

Really? I thought Dan wanted to do SpecE30?

I think an M50 swapped car would be a wicked GTS car, but what do I know? Smile

Yep, I told him to forget Spec E30 and go for GTS :-).

It would make a wicked GTS Car. I actually thought about it for a minute or two.

Rex is selling off everything...I'm a sad person now. He had to get all practical and grown up on us...

You gotta CATCH the German cars first!

Well, technically, you have to have a running car first, THEN you have to try to catch the German cars ;-).
