Good Vendor Experience - Innovate LM1 - PDenbigh - 03-30-2007

Several years ago, probably around 2002-2003, I bought an Innovate LM Wideband controller. Sometime last year, while being hardwired to the XR, it broke. A few weeks ago I decided to fix it for my Megasquirt project. I did basic troubleshooting w/o success, so I opened it up and immediately smelled that "Your circuit board a'splod" burnt electronics smell.

So, I called Innovate and told them that I'd like to get it repaird. He gave me an ID # and I shipped it off.

It arrived today, fully repaired, and with an invoice for $0.00.

2 week turnaound time, and they fixed AND shipped it for free. That's after it's several YEARS old. Unheard of in the electronics industry. And, it came in a new box.

I got what I paid for. It wasn't the cheapest but you can't beat that kind of service.

During my research I read they had a good product. I just don't like how large it is. Seems to be more of a tuning type unit, not a vehicle mount monitor unit.

Check out their LC-1, I think it's called. It's a gauge and a wideband O2 unit all in one. I think it can perform a bunch of other functions as well.

Thats awesome, at least someone somewhere can stand behind their product.

good to know Pete. I will be considering their LC-1 eventually.
