Races air next weekend for Speed World Challenge - I cant find the ALMS 12-hr race on the TV schedule anywhere

It aired all day on Speed here.
so, uh, this was the first race I have sat down and watched a lot of in a long time. Ok, so I watched the first hour, the last hour and a half, and probably another 1-2 hours in the middle, but that's a lot of TV in one day for me.
I won't spoil, but I will say that I was unhappy with the ending of GT2, though it was a nailbiter to the last turn, which makes for some great racing.
F1 is a bit much for me yet. However, in my opinion this was a perfect introduction for anybody who wants to watch something where they can recognize a lot of what is being driven, learn, and enjoy the racing. Also lots of activity too,
I'm going to do my best to watch more of this series this year.

stupid comcast sucks! jenn gets speed channel but its been having problems all weekend for the channels that dont come with regular cable. no sound and the picture keeps coming in and out. that also goes for cbshd so i've been watching the stupid ncaa tourney in regular format. its so blurry, it sucks, arg!

yea but that would have been a non issue had the Ferrari team not had to serve a 20sec penalty in the pits for one of his 'crew' not having his visor down during a stop :roll:
Bergmeister should have just sucked it up and been happy for where he finished. I agree it's not how you want to set the standard for your drivers to follow in order to 'win'...

Whoa. I ran into a guy with a Flying Lizard hat on the way back to baggage claim at Dulles today and he was saying the Flying Lizard guys were so pissed that they didn't even want to do the TV interview.
I have a bunch of pics and video to upload. It was a hell of a good time but I wish I could've seen the TV broadcast in addition to being at the track because I missed a lot. So for instance I saw the White Lightning 430 getting carted off on a flatbed but I didn't know it had caught on fire (although I could've guessed after learning about the 430's predisposition for catching on fire...).
I also did my first on camera interview for TOV so hopefully that'll be on the site fairly soon. I talked to Honda Performance Development's technical group leader before and after the race. I have to say it felt great to share in the moment with the Acura guys.
I'll post more on my Sebring experience but I am backed up on a lot of stuff since I've been gone since basically the 6th of the month.

i don't know if you could call someone on wreckless driving for that move but i find it pretty unsportsman-like. the porsche def. had the better line and the ferrari just sort of did a bank-shot off his door :lol:
on the other hand, the porsche definitely let off -- you could see his exhaust spit fire -- so if he would have stayed in it and pushed back i bet he would have held it.

That was a damn good interview Gerald! It's nice to hear someone ask the questions that motorsport people actually care about. Because of all the leeway in the rules, I think the most interesting thing about those cars is the technical challenges and how each team has a different approach towards what they think will be fastest. It's nice to hear one of the engineers explain that thought process.
