I know someone looking for a street (only) Miata, I'm guessing you wouldn't recommend this for that?

Nope. The A/C is non-op (although everything is there), there's no soft top, and the horn isnt hooked up. I'll sell it to whoever shows me the greenbacks, but it isnt a great street car.

that car really looks good.. the hardtop makes them so much cooler. Miatas have been for some reason appealing to me the past few days. I just dont think I would fit in one at all. 6 foot 2, 220 lbs. May be looking into one in the future for a track car-beater. I mean if all you alumni got em, theres got to be someting cool about em :o

is the VLSD factory on those cars? a rare option? or aftermarket from some other car?

options for different years, different engines. But definitely not rare, and definitely factory. As for the whole story, I dunno.
