$9,900 ...

Remember... I have no place to work on a car. I have a 2005 subaru that's very reliable... but this is so GODDAMM HOT!

- Dave - 03-09-2007

mmmm, tasty. I didn't click the link, but I think that's a keeper.

- JackoliciousLegs - 03-09-2007

Oh... click the link. 2 owners. All records. Maintained by a mechanic. Great price...

Do it!

don't you fucking do that. i was waiting for you to talk me out of it. i need your negativity. GO!

- .RJ - 03-09-2007

I really dont see anything wrong with it as long as it checks out and doenst make funny noises on a test drive.

If its got "extensive service history" then the cooling system will have already been overhauled.

Oh, and its not negativity, its a nurturing hate Wink

- ScottyB - 03-09-2007

i can't help you at all here. i would have a for sale sign in the subaru yesterday.

- BLINGMW - 03-09-2007

Keep the subie. Do you REALLY insist on experiencing the questionable build quality of the E36 yourself? And what's the point? Just for looks? Are you going to track it? Why bother with anything but a reliable car for the street?

Says the guy who wont drive the white E30 because its too new....

Do it.

DO IT.

That's a good price and if it does indeed have an "extensive service history" you really have nothing to lose.

You only live once, Jack, and it's only money after all...

I likey. Pretty decent price on it as well.

It sounds like alot of the worries with a 100k+ mile car are taken out of the picture by the service history.

Go for it Tongue

No.

link

for example - has a few dings and flaws, but 25k less miles, same price.

- JackoliciousLegs - 03-09-2007

If I'm not mistaken, <$10k for any M3 in good shape is rare.
17 listed on cars.com nationwide. About half of them are 5spd.

- JackoliciousLegs - 03-09-2007

The thing that really appeals to me is the fact that it has a full service history. Plus it was BMW cert, then maintained by a mech. If it checks out, it's pretty rare.

sounds like you have your heart really set on an M3, Jack. if you know you're going to really enjoy it, and what with the fact that you rarely find an M with a history like this....you might as well. you've been looking forever, how often does this happen at this price?

years down the road, when you're telling your grandkids about your cars, are you going to want to tell them about the 2.5rs or the M3? haha i'm terrible....i just want to live vicariously through you
