chat with gateway tech support - HAULN-SS - 03-01-2007 I broke my apps/drivers cd, and I thought I'd try to get them to send me a new one while at work - but i forgot to bring my serial number with me. I reinstalled XP on my home machine, it asked if i wanted to register now online or wait. I chose to wait. I try to log on and it says I HAVE to register now. which wouldn't be a big deal except, I JUST REINSTALLED THE OS! so I have to set up my internet card, which I can't do until I log in to windows. a very nice catch 22 thank you microsoft. I won't even go into the debacle that was calling help support and trying to have the computer on the other end of the phone get my 900 character ID correct. - Feersty - 03-01-2007 That sucks Derek.
