I'd like to do Old Rag, and possibly another day trip this summer, anyone in?

Where is Old Rag? I may be down if its not too far away. I'd like to get together with you guys more often this summer, but work + the closest meeting place being almost 4 hours away makes it tough.

I'm down for any sort of hiking trip. Y'all wanna do a good circuit hike, an out and back, or entry at one point, pick up at another. I've got a lot of hiking books for the Shenandoah, we're not limited to the well known ones like Old Rag.

Dude you want scenery I can give you a couple hikes that will blow Old Rag out of the water. What kinda scenery do you want, waterfalls, rivers/creeks, wildlife, valley views, peak views?
Did this one last fall that was abolutely amazing, came hiking in and out of the frost line and ended up at a semi-frozen waterfall, now that r0x0rz.
