I mean, if they're gonna go that route, why not put Seat, Peugeot, Vauxhall, Spyker and all the other not-sold-here brands. - CaptainHenreh - 02-16-2007 I missed this: Because who gives a fucking shit. But the rest I got no sweat. Cool game, actually. - Feersty - 02-16-2007 Its Maybach, Rex. ? - .RJ - 02-16-2007 Saleen - Andy - 02-16-2007 What the hell are: - Maengelito - 02-16-2007 land rover and alfa romeo? - JustinG - 02-16-2007 no one spoil it - JustinG - 02-16-2007 DOH - Ryan T - 02-17-2007 got all of them right first try through Fun game, but easy. - CaptainHenreh - 02-17-2007 Feersty Wrote:Its Maybach, Rex. Yes, I figured it out eventually. I was just commenting that I try to know as little about Maybach as possible, because I will never, ever, ever take advantage of any knowledge I have about Maybach. At all. I will never use what little I actually do know about them, which consists of: What their Logo looks like AND Who they're owned by. Edit: I still can't believe so many people were confused by I mean, seriously. Saleen and Maybach were no problem but you get stumped by Alfa Romeo? Damn. - ViPER1313 - 02-17-2007 I put alfa, it denied me  - Ryan T - 02-17-2007 CaptainHenreh Wrote:Edit: I still can't believe so many people were confused by I mean, seriously. Not that hard to believe, Alfa Romeo was the only one that I actually had to sit and think about for a minute. - Andy - 02-17-2007 For me at least, car trivia isn't all that interesting to me e.g. when was the first year the Corvette was built? I can't risk the precious little real estate in my brain for it. - CaptainHenreh - 02-17-2007 Ryan T Wrote:CaptainHenreh Wrote:Edit: I still can't believe so many people were confused by I mean, seriously. Saleen and Maybach were no problem but you get stumped by Alfa Romeo? Damn. Maybe it's because my (completely) irrational brain thinks very firmly that a GTV6 is a fantastic idea. A cool v6: Cool Rear Transaxle: And cool '80's euro style: If they were German instead of Italian, I'd probably have one. I'm just not sure I want to tackle an italian car just yet. I've been following Per's project Alfa on GRM just to make sure... - Mike - 02-17-2007 yay, i got them all. where's my cookie? - D_Eclipse9916 - 02-17-2007 lol yeah I got them all, the one that almost stumped me was actually the land rover, the rest of em were damn easy, the land rover pic was all messed up though so it took me a second. - ScottyB - 02-17-2007 CaptainHenreh Wrote:Cool Rear Transaxle: whoa seriously? i thought inboard brakes were something only the brits were brave enough to try...once. my friend's dad used to have an alfa 164L. it was probably one of the best sounding V6's i've ever heard. it even looked awesome too. - Andy - 02-17-2007 In board brakes are a pretty good idea in terms of removing unsprung weight. I guess the wheel probably protects the rotor from road debris so that's probably why it's more popular. |
