Decent Independent Shop in Harrisonburg? - xvxax - 02-14-2007 I searched. I'm looking for an independent shop that can work on domestics for cheap, does good work. I'm talking maintenance, my truck broke. Anyone get their car worked on down here and know someone who does good work? I assume if you can find someone reliable it would be cheaper to get work done down here than Fairfax, but that's just a guess. Either way it needs to be done. I need to have my wheel bearings replaced, and possibly my transfer case looked at, if my quick fix doesn't fix it. Sucks getting stranded when we just got like 3" of fresh ice. For now, headed out into the snow with a garbage bag to put under my back to remove my 4x4 electric motor. Electric t-cases suck. - Andy - 02-14-2007 Faul's Garage is good, cheap and honest. - D_Eclipse9916 - 02-14-2007 call sunrise automotive in Reston, they will be cheap, honest and do good work. - BLAIR - 02-14-2007 shenandoah automotive off 42... good people - .RJ - 02-14-2007 D_Eclipse9916 Wrote:call sunrise automotive in Reston, they will be cheap, honest and do good work. After purchasing a replacement transfer case shift motor from Advance Auto Parts I just took it to Faul's to intall since the new t-case harness was missing two wires that I had no interest in soldering, etc. Either way they did an amazing job and although it did take them a little longer than expected to finish what I needed done (bearings, grease, belts and 4x4 motor) they really took great care of me and I'm very happy with the price and quality of the work they did. Probably go back after spring break for more work. Thanks for the suggestion. - Feersty - 02-21-2007 xvxax Wrote:Got my truck back today from Faul's Garage.
