I am one of like 5 people in the office today. Did you guys go to work or skip out? Roads were actuall pretty bad - looked like they had a good 3 - 4 inches of snow/ice on them. If I didnt have an AWD car I probably would have taken off...because I saw a ton of people sliding around and getting stuck in our own parking lot even.

i work from home pretty regularly... today (and yesterday) will be no exceptions. i used to bust my ass to get in there (in an s2000 on summer tires) and find myself to be maybe 1 of 3 people in an office of 100, while people with trucks, subarus, etc, were all sitting at home. fuck it...

got off at 2 yesterday, 2 hour delay this morning. with 6/60 people here and reservations for lunch at 12:30 i think this will be another "half" day
I don't know who I should be mad at, VDOT for not plowing any roads near me in Arlington (not even the main ones that run by the metro) or the Gov't for only giving me a delay, or my carpool for "being afraid of the roads" in his X5 no less, so I had to walk to the metro in this mess. grrr
