omg..work is going to be so boring today - HAULN-SS - 02-14-2007 I am one of like 5 people in the office today. Did you guys go to work or skip out? Roads were actuall pretty bad - looked like they had a good 3 - 4 inches of snow/ice on them. If I didnt have an AWD car I probably would have taken off...because I saw a ton of people sliding around and getting stuck in our own parking lot even. - white_2kgt - 02-14-2007 closed, I got a snow day sucker! - Ryan T - 02-14-2007 today is only the 2nd time since I've been at JMU that they closed campus the day before. - Andy - 02-14-2007 Working from home except I can't get access to our database and it looks like no one is in the IT dept. - Feersty - 02-14-2007 I couldn't move. After two tries to get out of my neighborhood I traveled about 6 feet. ![]() I have Falken Azenis. blah! - HAULN-SS - 02-14-2007 heh..damnit! If I was on program I;d have a snow day too! Oh well, at least I didnt have to use a vacation day - BLINGMW - 02-14-2007 it only rained in Roanoke.
- HAULN-SS - 02-14-2007 i would have thought that focus would have done a little better than that on flat ground going forward - Sijray21 - 02-14-2007 i'm working from home, but i can't even get to the groccery store for food. i'm eating pb&j, ramen, and i already finished my ice cream...
- HAULN-SS - 02-14-2007 that's the saddest story I've heard all day. - Sijray21 - 02-14-2007 HAULN-SS Wrote:that's the saddest story I've heard all day. and it's only 9:01am ![]() i could go for a vanilla frosty. i'll probably trek out on these terrible roads near noon or so. - Mike - 02-14-2007 i work from home pretty regularly... today (and yesterday) will be no exceptions. i used to bust my ass to get in there (in an s2000 on summer tires) and find myself to be maybe 1 of 3 people in an office of 100, while people with trucks, subarus, etc, were all sitting at home. fuck it... - Feersty - 02-14-2007 HAULN-SS Wrote:i would have thought that focus would have done a little better than that on flat ground going forward I just went spinny man. Tried first and reverse, no dice. I would rather be stuck in front of my house than on 495 or Rolling Road. - HappyIdiot - 02-14-2007 I went in today. I'm the only one here out of 300 people. - Dragon - 02-14-2007 Working from home today just like I did all day yesterday. I am wondering if Jason is gonna go skiing in our back yard again. - CaptainHenreh - 02-14-2007 I'll work from home until like, lunchtime or so. - Sijray21 - 02-14-2007 Dragon Wrote:I am wondering if Jason is gonna go skiing in our back yard again. planing to around 1pm or so
- REED - 02-14-2007 got off at 2 yesterday, 2 hour delay this morning. with 6/60 people here and reservations for lunch at 12:30 i think this will be another "half" day I don't know who I should be mad at, VDOT for not plowing any roads near me in Arlington (not even the main ones that run by the metro) or the Gov't for only giving me a delay, or my carpool for "being afraid of the roads" in his X5 no less, so I had to walk to the metro in this mess. grrr - .RJ - 02-14-2007 *yawn* just woke up. I love unemployment. - Sijray21 - 02-14-2007 REED Wrote:or my carpool for "being afraid of the roads" in his X5 no less that sounds about right   |
