Touchless car washes in Harrisonburg? - xvxax - 02-04-2007 So I'm new here, where does one go about finding a touchless car wash for his whip in Harrisonburg for these cold months? Is sheetz touchless? - JustinG - 02-04-2007 i go to the one at the BP station across from quiznos and shoneys. The one at sheetz has the stupid bump you have to drive up on and i dont want my car to scrape so i dont even try. or across from outback behind to midas or wahtever it is there is a bay with the pressure washer wands and such you could use. - Nis01 - 02-04-2007 Don't waste your time with those machines. Just go to Miracle Car Wash over near Outback and bring your own stuff. - xvxax - 02-04-2007 When it's warmer I will go do the washing myself, but when it's colder than freezing out I think it's smarter to just get the salt off and listen to some tunes in my truck while a machine does the work. (all i really care about when it's 14 degrees outside) Good looking out about those bumps. Thanks for the help. The place where you do it yourself is off 33 by Advance auto right? - JustinG - 02-04-2007 either there or across from outback, they are both miracle car washes - ultimagtrlover - 02-05-2007 IMHO, the best spray booths are found on south main street, a little bit before Wendy's, on the opposite side of Wendy's (assuming u r coming from JMU, that would be on the right side). It looks real junky, but the place has nice, heated water for real cheap...one dollar gives u I believe 4 minutes. If you are lucky, the spray guns will leak and u can just put a bucket underneath the leaking water and it will fill up. - sk24iam - 02-05-2007 ultimagtrlover Wrote:IMHO, the best spray booths are found on south main street, a little bit before Wendy's, on the opposite side of Wendy's (assuming u r coming from JMU, that would be on the right side). I bring my own mitt and spray the soap on, then i rinse the car off and dry it with my own towel. |
