There's no point in carrying around a stack of CD's thats a pain in the ass to change while driving. Sirius takes the place of regular radio - my use is probably a 50/50 split between the two.

are you a music elitist? How often do you update your ipod? Thats my problem with those, you never listen to new stuff unless you pirate music like mad, or have a big budget to spend on something lamer than that. At least with sirius/xm I get some new stuff thrown in.

It takes a few minutes a week to download some new music.... or if you're going to buy CD's its not any more expensive to buy albums from iTunes.

I listen to the ipod in the truck usually but not lately since I can't find my FM transmitter thingie. I like to listen to racing and language training podcasts so I feel like I'm productive and every 2 weeks or so I'll add some songs I've downloaded or whatever.
