i was sn0wrift0ing on my way home from jenn's this morning. cville is all hills so i was definitely going uphill sorta sideways in the miata on my falken azenis. luckily, i put the snowtires on the STi on friday so i'm ready to start shredding up some parking lots

Yeah I just went out. I was fine, albeit my summer tires arent that good for braking. People are dumb fucks, I came to an uphill and everybody was spinning trying to get up. It was fun as hell passing people easily with no tire spin.... AWD FTW......
Then I came to the long downhill where squire hill is and saw like 10 cars hitting each other. I just parked in the fox hill houses, no reason to get myself involved, and walked down to my house.

haha right near my old place in Fox Hills. we used to sit in lawn chairs drinking beer and laughing at everyone sliding down the hill.

The Bimmer sucks in the snow, period. On my way to UREC, I did a nice big doughnut in the P-Run cul-da-sac. That was fun. But on the way back to my townhouse, my car couldn't get up the hill near the enterance to P-run... the Bimmer is parked on the side street.
No soup for you.

The spirit made it out of PRun just fine today. I spent 20 minutes driving in and out of the cul-de-sac doing ebrake slides etc :lol:
It is a good thing to have a winter beater.
