Need a VIN run please :-) - JackoliciousLegs - 01-03-2007 Enough of this wimpy econo car BS... WMWRE33484TD78726 Thanks guys ;-) - CaptainHenreh - 01-03-2007 Never struck me as a MINI man. Why not an RX-8? You could score a nice six speed for the same price! - .RJ - 01-03-2007 CaptainHenreh Wrote:Why not an RX-8? You could score a nice six speed for the same price! I'm suprised you didnt launch off into a GTO tirade
- JackoliciousLegs - 01-03-2007 Dammit! My cover's blown. Back to the batmobile! I live in the city man... plus, I drove the RX-8 at the Mazda zoom zoom event, and sadly... it sucked. I had driven one before on the road and i was disappointed with the ride, the space i had, and the visibility, but it was no fun at an autox. Plus the mpg sucks and they're throwing CELs more often than Rosie O'Donnell gets PMS. What else should I look at in the under 20k sporty range? WRX? Bahh... maybe... it's just a little boy racer for me. - CaptainHenreh - 01-03-2007 .RJ Wrote:CaptainHenreh Wrote:Why not an RX-8? You could score a nice six speed for the same price! G T OOOOOOOOOOO!!!! It's a little beyond what Jack wants to pay, and that's OK. Although he could probably score an LS1 one. I only said RX-8 cuz: When I drove one at Zoom-Zoom I loved it and Their prices are going down faster than RJ's mom. - ScottyB - 01-03-2007 mini's are awesome! how can you beat one in the city too, the perfect mini habitat - JackoliciousLegs - 01-03-2007 At zoom zoom, it felt torqueless and very prone to understeer. It'd be heavenly on track but I like small cars. What can I say? I loved the miata much MUCH more. - CaptainHenreh - 01-03-2007 JackoliciousLegs Wrote:At zoom zoom, it felt torqueless and very prone to understeer. It'd be heavenly on track but I like small cars. Ick. - JackoliciousLegs - 01-03-2007 Nope, off on both. I didn't fit well. That was issue number 1. Same problem with the 3rd gens :tear: - CaptainHenreh - 01-03-2007 JackoliciousLegs Wrote:Nope, off on both. I didn't fit well. That was issue number 1. I did forget that your an urban warrior, a Mini would be a pretty cool car in that environment, as much as it pains me to say. What about a, er, uhm... Elise! Yeah! That's nice and small! - JackoliciousLegs - 01-03-2007 Welll.... linky - WRXtranceformed - 01-03-2007 JackoliciousLegs Wrote:What else should I look at in the under 20k sporty range? WRX? Small, fuel efficient, drop some snow tires on it in the winter for some fun doriftoing 8) - JackoliciousLegs - 01-03-2007 WRXtranceformed Wrote:I'd love one if I fit just a little more comfortably. :-(JackoliciousLegs Wrote:What else should I look at in the under 20k sporty range? - JackoliciousLegs - 01-03-2007 Good idea. Too bad they're all auto. - JustinG - 01-03-2007 GSX FTW......AWD, Sporty, Power - WRXtranceformed - 01-03-2007 JackoliciousLegs Wrote:Good idea. Too bad they're all auto. Huh? Not so much =p 5 Speed IS 5 Speed IS 2 5 Speed IS 3 Those are all just within 50 miles from where I live. I'm sure you can find plenty that are within your price range near Chicago  About half of the IS's made in 2001 and every one after that had an LSD from the factory as well (mine doesn't). 8) - CaptainHenreh - 01-03-2007 More better than a Mini? - JackoliciousLegs - 01-03-2007 WRXtranceformed Wrote:Yeah...
