- Maengelito - 12-10-2006 nice... if my S14's brakes were better, i'm sure it would've been a fun car. dont forget to help it slow down when you make it that fast - G.Irish - 12-11-2006 What's the goal for this car? (i.e. drifting, time trial, drag) - Jeff - 12-11-2006 What is the stock turbo? Mitsubishi? - BLAIR - 12-11-2006 97-98 240s look awesome with the angry eye look LSD ASAP if you dont have one already - Evan - 12-11-2006 unicorn! - DRYFT - 12-11-2006 G.Irish Wrote:What's the goal for this car? (i.e. drifting, time trial, drag) Its going to be a promotional/drift car. It will be a full build including paint/body. Most likely up for sale in the spring sometime when were finished. Quote:What is the stock turbo? Mitsubishi? Its the stock T25 off the saab. Quote:LSD ASAP if you dont have one already Yea this didnt have the factory lsd so we welded the diff together lol, but we're getting a real lsd for it. - BLAIR - 12-11-2006 400hp seems a bit unrealistic on a unbuilt motor. i mean you can make any power for a few pulls till it blows just for big numbers. 300whp is about the most people get out of stock KA's that are reliable and thats not even that often. if its going to be a drift car you dont even need much power anyways goodluck though - DRYFT - 12-11-2006 Jeff Taylor who set the record at 558whp on stock internals with a completely ghetto rigged ka24det setup will be tuning it . 400whp shouldnt be any problem lol. It wont stay completely stock anyways though. It will be built by spring time. You should come check it out, you had the 240 that you sold right? - ScottyB - 12-11-2006 very nice! i'd like to see how you do with the holset....i thought those were more deisel oriented turbos though? i'm not sure - .RJ - 12-11-2006 DRYFT Wrote:Jeff Taylor who set the record at 558whp on stock internals How long did it last? Would it make it around summit point for 30 minutes in the summer without blowing up? Just curious.... I always thought big HP was fragile on track. - Feersty - 12-11-2006 Interesting buildup. - CaptainHenreh - 12-11-2006 Hey speaking of the Shop, do you guys need a Saab 9000 engine/trans? N/A, but cheap. - BLAIR - 12-12-2006 DRYFT Wrote:Jeff Taylor who set the record at 558whp on stock internals with a completely ghetto rigged ka24det setup will be tuning it . 400whp shouldnt be any problem lol.
