raindrops keep fallin' on my head... - Maengelito - 11-20-2006 not sure how many of you have seen this. i think its a bit older, but wow, eetsa no good http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAvc0Cij7zA - Feersty - 11-20-2006 Damn - Jeff - 11-20-2006 Wow, they don't look like they are going all that fast but I am sure it is an illusion. Those are some serious impacts. - ScottyB - 11-20-2006 brutal - Sijray21 - 11-20-2006 that's ridiculous... ...a whole lot of money was lost in the making of this film...
- Evan - 11-20-2006 WTF.......driving in the rain isnt that hard.... - .RJ - 11-20-2006 Unless they were out on dry slicks, and it opened up while the track was hot.... - Evan - 11-20-2006 and its still not hard to get to the pits not driving like a dumbass for less than 1 lap to change tires before water starts pooling - .RJ - 11-20-2006 Is it? If one car crashed, sure he's a dumbass. When 30 cars crash... there's a bigger problem at hand. - Evan - 11-20-2006 yes, 30 dumbasses on the track. maybe with more money than talent (like the guy who owned 2 race saleens) seriously. its not fucking hard - .RJ - 11-20-2006 Yes, i'm sure all of those guys just showed up with a checkbook and no skills to do an expensive DE event  - G.Irish - 11-20-2006 Same thing happened at Watkins Glen. If you have a sudden large downpour at a race where either there's standing water on some parts of the track or its raining harder at one part of the track than another you can have pile ups like this. Same thing happened in the Grand Am race at Watkins Glen a while back. Looks like all of the cars still had slicks on in this one. - Maengelito - 11-21-2006 and i think those cars have a bit more hp/tq than your miata. - Evan - 11-21-2006 fucking shit people, this is not rocket science. as even the announcer said, the conditions were essentially undrivable, the rain had been coming down for at the very least several laps (probably 10+ minutes) and it doesnt take michael schumacher to know that you dont crest a hill in the wet with the tires spinning ps- my miata does have enough power to spin the wheels in almost any gear in the wet |
