Friendly VA Inspector Needed - Steve85 - 11-03-2006 It's that time of year again, I need an inspection. Obviously my car would not pass the visual emmissions part of the test but everything else is good. Help, please.... - WRXtranceformed - 11-03-2006 You're talking about emissions inspection right? Most places in NoVA don't even look to see whether you have cats. They just plug into your ODB port (if that's what kind of car you are) and see if you have any CELs. If you don't, you're clear. Otherwise talk to one of the guys down in H'burg to see if you can get it registered as garaged at their place. I'm sure that wouldn't be a problem. - Sijray21 - 11-03-2006 i didn't think they had emissions in h-burg? get the basics working and you'll be set - HAULN-SS - 11-03-2006 If you wanna drive 100 miles to roanoke, I know a guy. - WRXtranceformed - 11-03-2006 Sijray21 Wrote:i didn't think they had emissions in h-burg?Exactly  Why do you think I have the STi registered there? - Steve85 - 11-03-2006 Sorry, I was talking about the Safety Inspection (window sticker). It includes a visual of emmissions equipment such as air pump, egr, etc. that are sitting on a shelf in my garage. I need someone who will overlook that. Luckily, we don't have a tailpipe or OBD test here in Fredneck County either. - WRXtranceformed - 11-03-2006 Oh okay hehe. - ziich - 11-06-2006 I know a place in Chantilly VA. In and out in 2 minutes, they don't even look at your car, just write up the sticker for $35. |
