Forum Upgraded - ViPER1313 - 09-13-2006

I just upgraded the forum - if you encounter any new problems (or things that fixed themselves) post here!

- ScottyB - 09-13-2006

thanks!

If I click on "View posts since last visit"

View a post, then go back to the search screen I get -

Information

You cannot make another search so soon after your last; please try again in a short while.

I logged out, cleared my c00kies, logged back in... same problem.

- ViPER1313 - 09-13-2006

How are you going back? Using the browser's forward / back buttons?

- ViPER1313 - 09-13-2006

OK, I duplicated the problem. I think this is due to phpBBs default search flood interval - I lowered it slightly, see if it helps...

- .RJ - 09-13-2006

Better....

Can you lower it more?

Thanks Smile

- Feersty - 09-13-2006

Thanks Adam.

- ViPER1313 - 03-18-2007

Updated to latest version of PHPBB - make note of any new problems.

the events page throws a 404

- Goodspeed - 03-21-2007

Just FYI...I don't think the forums clock has been reset an hour ahead...not really a big deal but whatever

Mike Wrote:the events page throws a 404

Old problem, trying to find the damn link in the code to point it towards the events forum.

EDIT: DONE

Server issue - change your time zone if this bothers you.

So fix it or let give someone else access to fix it. Personally if I were a n00b coming I'd put more stock in a website that only 1/2 worked than the post made by the members when I decided whether or not I wanted to join.

I didn't set up the current structure for the forum / homepage, the bar up top while browsing the forum is defined in the overall_header.tpl file of the phpBB template.

Someone needs to fix Petes / your GRM forum (you were the 2 defined admins) delete it cause it got spammed to hell - I was nice enough to give myself Admin access and shut it down for you for the time being.

is what i put in place of the actual html in top.php... no luck...[/code]

What do you need help with? My 2kgt website's template engine is based off the phpbb2 template engine. it's actually pretty easy to work with once you get the hang of it.

i'll bring my laptop to the next event... it's not urgent.
