New people thread - Andy - 09-06-2006

Hey, I noticed a few new folks on the forums. Could we get you guys to post an intro about yourselves so we know who you guys are? Half of the folks here are alumni so we'll only see you at autoxes and track days. Cheers Big Grin

Hey whats up everybody, I already posted this on another thread but this one seems more appropriate.Anyway, I'm a freshman that didnt make to to org night but a friend gave me a flyer and this is exactly what im tryin to get into. As for the ride, i have a work in progress 93 Integra Gs. I was piecing together a turbo kit and then i wrecked into a van. That set me back but its fixed and now all i need is a downpipe flange and to weld up the downpipe. Other than that mods are as follows:

SI wheels, lowered 1.5" with Neuspeed suspension (i know you euro guys are wondering but yes they make a few honda parts), half and half taillights from a 91 DA, short shifter, synchromesh tranny fluid upgrade(for those 7k shifts), AEM shortram intake, DC Sport 4-2-1 header, high flow cat, and of course i have the stock muffler, damn.

How do you have a 4-2-1 header and a turbo kit?

- JustinG - 09-06-2006

this man is very wise. i guess i wasnt clear enough with my crappy english skills. after i wrecked the car i test fitted every piece of the turbo kit that i had, i even tapped the oil pan, but since i dont have a downpipe i put it back to stock just so it was drivable. im a freshman so i left the car at home and my parents would be pissed if they couldnt move it. but anyway im not a master tech or anything but im not retarded and/or rice enough to pretend i have a dc sports header and a turbo manifold.

Old member, new abuser. I'll go ahead and use this forum to "formally" introduce myself instead of highjacking and ruining everyones thread like I so love to do.

Former member. Alumni remember me as GTDAN because I used to drive a 01' Mustang GT. Rarely paid dues on time, never supported track events, talk a LOT of shit to other members. Oh, and I believe I lost the election for club mascot (I think Rotary Jack won). Currently serving as a Field Artillery officer with the computer science degree JMU gave me (go figure). Sold the Stang and bought a 2006 Civic EX. Drove it for 3 months, got sick of a lack of power (remember I HAD a mustang), and promptly bought a 2006 Civic Si. Needless to say, I'm enjoying a steady income for once. Big Grin Oh, and I hate rotary engines.
