FS: 2003 Tundra SR5 2WD - WRXtranceformed - 09-02-2006 Up for sale is my 2003 Tundra SR5 (extended cab), Auto, V6, 2WD ~122k miles. As most of you have seen already, I no longer need this truck for work and am switching over to the younger richer brother of Toyota, t3h L3xors. Some scratches / dents on the interior and exterior (it was a construction vehicle),needs 4 new tires, and if you remember I had to replace the broken rear sliding glass with a piece of tinted Lexan. Otherwise this truck runs VERY strong and is a complete workhorse! It has ~ heated side view mirrors with blind spot mirrors ~ a great sound system (maybe premium, no clue) with CD / tape player ~ a couple extra cigarette plug ins for cell phones / accessories ~ cruise control, power windows, power locks ~ keyless entry w/ security system ~ bedliner ~ trailer ball (I have no clue what this thing's towing capacity is though) Since I've owned it I've changed the oil around every 3 thousand with Mobile 1 synthetic (I have a huge ass scar on my wrist to prove it) and this truck runs great. 122,000 miles is quite a bit I know, but this truck will literally run forever. My old Toyota pickup from 1994 went for like 240,000 miles before it blew a head gasket (which was probably my fault for pushing it when it was overheating). Here are a few pics from when I first bought it... it looks pretty much the same except it NO LONGER has that cap on it... I sold that a while back: ![]() ![]() For MM'ers, I'm asking $8,800 even. That should be more than a fair price for a truck that will take a beating, haul shit around no problem, and last forever. Thanks for looking, help a brother out! I don't want to / can't make 3 car / insurance payments for very long haha. - WRXtranceformed - 09-06-2006 Nobody? This is a really nice truck! =) - WRXtranceformed - 09-11-2006 I can't believe I'm doing this, but I want to see this truck leave my cul de sac ASAP. $9,000 even, to any MM member or friend of a member. I will NOT go any lower than this, or literally I will be losing money. Somebody snag this up, it's an awesome truck and has enough power to tow one of your piles =p - WRXtranceformed - 09-23-2006 This thing's gotta gooooo! I'm also willing to split the profit that I make (over what the bank payoff is) with anyone who refers a buyer to me. So if I get $800, you get $400. - Maengelito - 09-26-2006 i'll put it up on our bulletin board at work. do you have any contact info you'd want me to advertise with it? - WRXtranceformed - 09-28-2006 Maengelito Wrote:i'll put it up on our bulletin board at work. do you have any contact info you'd want me to advertise with it?Hey thanks man! Sure, they can email me at lee.semmes@gmail.com or call the cell: (540) 421-5480 - Andy - 09-28-2006 What's your asking price outside of MM? - WRXtranceformed - 09-28-2006 Right now it's $9000 for an MM'er, $9500 for an outsider (that's what it was listed on Autotrader for). For how much I still owe on it, if it sells for $9500, you get roughly $500. - Andy - 09-28-2006 I'll post it on my company FS Forum - WRXtranceformed - 09-28-2006 Thanks man =) - WRXtranceformed - 11-03-2006 This is still for sale. The strong buyer I had for it backed out because he didn't want to drive 2.5 hours to get it ........................... Nobody needs a cheap, good truck to haul your bike to the track plus all your gear, tools, tires etc? I guess this could probably pull a racecar too, depending on how big it was. It's going in the Post tomorrow, just figured I'd see if any of my friends might want dibs first. - HAULN-SS - 11-03-2006 You should've driven it to that guy? - Ginger - 11-03-2006 For anybody curious, this thing books at about $13K, so it's a heck of a price he's offering. - Evan - 11-03-2006 shit, only $9k?! yeah thats a sick deal. and the v6 gets better gas mileage - WRXtranceformed - 11-03-2006 I could have driven it the 5+ hours to him sure, but I'd have to find someone to follow me there and back, and honestly, it's not worth the 450 bucks I'd be making on the deal to waste an entire day off driving 10 hours. I offered to meet him halfway like in Blacksburg or something, but that was too far I guess. Thanks guys, I feel like it's a fantastic price. I'm jumping on the Post website now and hopefully I'll get a bite from that. - Evan - 11-03-2006 are you putting it on craigslist every other day or so? - WRXtranceformed - 11-03-2006 Nah I haven't hit Craigslist that hard. I tried once but didn't keep up with it. That's the first time I've tried to do something on CL. - WRXtranceformed - 11-03-2006 Welp ad placed, keep your eyes open for it in the Washington Post on Sunday-Wed or so =) Keep your fingers crossed for me, this truck is basically a street ornament right now. - damnit458 - 11-05-2006 WRXtranceformed Wrote:Nah I haven't hit Craigslist that hard. It is definitely worth your time to post every other day or so like evan was suggesting. - Ryan T - 11-05-2006 craigslist is the shit, tis where Rex found my supra.
