WTB Subaru OEM parts - Andy - 08-22-2006 Hey Guys, Joan's Outback is due for a timing belt change, as well as a tune up and brakes. Where do you guys get your OE Suby bits from? Google yielded some fairly inexpensive dealers but I'm hoping you Suby guys know of some cheaper super secret place. - Nis01 - 08-22-2006 I have bought quite a few items from SubaruGenuineParts.com. Either call them or look through the online catalog with visuals and descriptions. Great service, fast shipping and everything is considerably less than from the dealership. The only thing I actually buy from the dealership is the oil filter when its time to change so that I have records of when each one took place. EDIT: Link -> http://www.subarugenuineparts.com/ - Maengelito - 08-22-2006 there's a few vendors on nasioc mid-atlantic that work for subaru dealers and give special prices for maintenance parts like oil filters and belts and such. i think one of their usernames is like subarupartsgirl or something like that. as for joan's brakes, go with autozone or advance or something if the car is mainly for daily driving - Evan - 08-22-2006 best place for rotors when i had my wrx was thepartsbin.com advance/autozone/napa were very expensive try rockauto.com too - Andy - 08-22-2006 Actually found subarupartsforyou.com Gay name, good prices and I get 20% off if I buy all my crap there so looks like that's what I'll do. - WRXtranceformed - 08-22-2006 Yeah Jackie on NASIOC is good for OEM stuff (subarupartsgirl). I'd try any of the vendors over there, and Evan's site sounds good too. |
