Gixxer 750 for sale - SameeRR - 07-27-2006 Hello, and Good evening. A good friend of mine is selling his 2005 GSX-R 750. It is that pretty rare color - Dark Blue and Black. Never been down. Great shape (I know for a fact because I normally go riding with him). He's selling it because he's retarded and wants to buy a boat. If there is anyone interested in this, let me know and I can get more details. - Mike - 07-27-2006 damnit... tell him to hold on to it for another year.... what is he asking? - Mike - 07-27-2006 for rob
- Ginger - 07-27-2006 As RJ put it: "Boats are for fags." - SameeRR - 07-28-2006 For once, I agree with RJ. haha. He is asking 8,200 for it. But im sure there is room for negotiation. - .paul - 07-28-2006 asteele2 Wrote:As RJ put it: that is just because he can not afford one, and if he were to buy one it would be 20 years old cuase God forbid he have something new. if you have a pimp boat ... you can totally swing more tail than on a bike, but you have to have tubes and wake boards and so forth to make a boat the most fun. but then again to have the most fun on a bike you have to have the track IMHO. anyhow, those bikes are awseome, i think all the 06 750's are spoken for, price is a lil high, but im sure set like that for negotiation. so who will buy this as their first bike? - JohnC - 07-28-2006 I'll see if Jess wants it, or if she'd rather hold out for the liter. - Mike - 07-28-2006 JohnC Wrote:I'll see if Jess wants it, or if she'd rather hold out for the liter. i'd really recommend the busa instead... it has that little extra oompha to be safe as a daily driver. - CaptainHenreh - 07-28-2006 GSXR?

"Boats are floating holes in the water... all you do is toss money into it." at one time, he was hiring day labor guys for a month at a time... because he'd pull his boats up to the shop and make the guy clean it... then pull the boat away and pick up the next one... so he could clean it... yes he owned over 40 registered boats at one time... - .paul - 07-28-2006 [quote="Kaan"] "Boats are floating holes in the water... all you do is toss money into it." [quote] so are the hobbies we have on wheels.. tracking cars.. tracking bikes.. all you do is toss money into it. - Kaan - 07-28-2006 lol i'd love to see someone get a GSXR 750 for their first bike... please add me to the will. boats suck down more money than any track/race car could. because 99% of boat guys dont work on their own stuff... unlike guys that track cars... and $150/hr in labor... gets out of control on things like tune ups! - Sijray21 - 07-28-2006 JohnC Wrote:I'll see if Jess wants it, or if she'd rather hold out for the liter. SO... some people can handle it... some people cant. If you ask your insurance company, they are going to tell you most cant handle it.
- ScottyB - 07-28-2006 Kaan Wrote:boats suck down more money than any track/race car could. i see your boat and raise you an RV - Beej - 07-28-2006 ScottyB Wrote:Psh, boats are way more expensive. Our old one held 150 gallons of gas, and that was only a 28' footer. A 58' footer at the marina I worked at held 1500 gallons of diesel. That shit is real.Kaan Wrote:boats suck down more money than any track/race car could. You could pull way more chicks with a boat, too. - Kaan - 07-28-2006 NASCAR event + RV = all the redneck chicks you could want Virginia + Boat = Boat Whores... i'm debating (at this very moment which is worse).... we are offically way off topic... i love it... at least the 4 sale is still up at the top
- Dragon - 07-28-2006 I've said it once, and I'll say it again, it doesn't matter how powerful the bike is that you start off with as long as you have the right mental state (which is questionable to begin with for anyone willing to buy a bike), and have something called self control. Everyone swore up and down that I was a complete idiot for starting off with my R6, but I've had 0 problems with it, and I think I'm coming along quite nicely. |
