I had the hankering for a new tshirt design so I thought Id sit down and play with some ideas to see what I came up with. (playing with photoshop sure beats the bazilliion other things I should be doing instead)
And I found a pretty good custom tshirt producer on the web with good prices and options.
So, I just wanted to see who would be interested in ordering a shirt or 2 like these.
This is the logo I came up with, feedback welcome

and a cool thing about this tshirt producer is that you can get numbers on the back. adds $2.50 a shirt

we could also get names (ie- nicknames) on the back for $4.50
a shirt with your number, would be about $14-17 depending on how many we order. Its a little more expensive than typical since the design uses 4 colors. could cut costs by using yellow for the tach redline. but they dont call it a yellowline do they?
let me know if anyone is interested. This is just a one-off order im putting together, and nothing 'official' as far as the official club shirts go.

What shirt 'blanks' do they use? Sizing can vary a ton from manufacturer to manufacturer.

I dig the numbers on the back. I don't know about the front though. The tach looks a little cartoony but I would be interested in a few shirts if we could make the front a little simpler or more testosteronie.

i like the numbers and nickname idea for the back of the shirt. I've always liked the idea of a tach, but for some reason i've never liked how they looked on the shirts. I do think that's the best one yet though.

the cartoony look is intentional, these shirts are screened, so a high res or photoreal graphic isnt possible.
remember if we do names, that turns these shirts into about $20 each....

I like the number. With the large graphic it doesn't leave it feeling all stiff wherever the big logo is does it? Personally I hate wearning a shirt that feels like has a cardboard box stuffed up inside it.

+1. Also, how does the tach look black with white hash marks?

good point about the stiff logo. with white on black they would have to double screen it so it would be a little stiff.
ill take it out and see how it looks when i get some time, which may not be for a while unfortunately, with the move and racing. IIRC I played with that when i was doing it and it just didnt pop out enough and looked confusing.
might make the ticks yellow to save on a color
