Yeah, when I beat Halo 2 and it said "to be continued" or something to that effect it was pretty obvious Halo 3 was coming.

Well yeah, it was obvious it was going to eventually come out, but not one person knew Bungie was developing Halo 3 as of recent. I guess word about this kind of thing usually spreads (I think Halo 2 was actually leaked before it was officialy released, if I remember correctly)

scotty and my roomate actually had the game 1 week prior to release b/c the JMU bookstore f-ed up and sold it to him. He drove down to c-ville to play the game on our friend's xbox b/c none of us had one at JMU.

i've turned into a huge nerd recently with the halo games becoming what they are, and really gotten into the halo "universe." if you love the game you might want to check out the novels, they explain some really neat history about the Spartan soldiers -- who they are and what happened to them. you also get a better idea of the vastness of the war and what humanity is up against. i just recently finished the fourth book, Ghosts of Onyx and it's pretty good....if you're stuck inside on a winter day i'd say its a nice way to kill some hours.

In other Halo news, Rex bought Indigo Prophecy and Halo 2 on an EB Games giftcard.

Yes, I am behind the times. This is what happens when you only buy used games and only when they're on sale. :-p (Halo 2 was 19.99, minus my discount card made it, like, 16 bucks!)
