Da Big Race
The big race to watch this weekend will be the AMA Supercross Finale. Ricky Carmichael (Suzuki) and Chad Reed (Yamaha) are tied for the championship lead and James "Bubba" Stewart (Kawasaki) is only 5 points behind. This means that if Reed or Carmichael wins or gets second ahead of one another they will win the championship. If Bubba wins and both Reed and Carmichael finish lower than second he will win the championship. I've gotta say my money is on Carmichael.

WSBK
World Superbike at Monza is almost always a great race because it is a home town advantage race for Ducati, who is leading the championship with 2 time champion Troy Bayliss at the helm. However, since Monza is a high speed track the Japanese 1000's will be tough to beat if they can conserve their tires.

Formula 1
Formula 1 should be a decent scrap since Nurburgring is the home track for 7 time champion Michael Schumacher and he'll be looking to follow up his win at Imola 2 weeks ago.

However, there is possible controversy looming on the horizon as to the legality of Ferrari (and other team's) front and rear wings. Don't be surprised to see some protest at the end of the weekend.

Enjoy!

?? We got richmond under the lights!

Perfect timing... I'm stuck home on Sunday watching paint dry (literally)... couchtime while watching racing plus getting caught up with work is ok by me.

J, who is overwhelmed by work and needs to be forced to the couch to finish some work - watching racing at the same time makes it enjoyable. Smile

Nurburgring race was great, good to see Schumacher win in front of his home crowd.

Rolex race was good. Exciting race, but they need to do something about assessing penalties for contact to the driver that doesn't go off track, even if it's not his fault.
