Some Nice Videos - Rbadboy21 - 05-02-2006 These are some pretty good quality videos that I thought you guys would like. There are videos from VIR and multiple other awsome tracks around the country. I thought these two drivers are really skilled and we could all learn a thing or two from watching these videos on what to do and what not to do (since a lot of us have been/tracked our cars at VIR). This first link are videos from all diff tracks (don't know what is done to the car, prob raced perpared if I had to guess) BTW both of these links are videos of some pretty serious Rx-7s. http://www.myrx7.com/movies/ This second link is also to a fully raced prepared Rx-7 (I am guessing). This guy really knows how to drive, so pay attention, also most of his videos are of VIR, Enjoy!!: http://fritz.sysadmin-racing.com/ Ryan - ScottyB - 05-02-2006 cool! i've seen Damien's 7 at VIR once, spitting flames all over the place. neat car, a great example of a trackday oriented 7 - Rbadboy21 - 05-02-2006 BTW, when you're watching the second link of videos (mostly at VIR). 4th gear on the FD Rx-7s rev out to 140mph, just to give you a sense of how fast he really is going. - JohnC - 05-02-2006 I've ridden with Fritz before at Summit Point. It was awesome. From this thread: http://mmsports.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=746 JohnC Wrote:Sunday brought absolutely beautiful weather and an abundance of NASA grid workers. There were like 8 people in the grid area, so I decided to try and score some rides. One of the instructors there had a black RX-7. When I first asked for a ride he mumbled something about the suspension being tuned for the driver only and he didn't want to screw anything up. Whatever - so I said "Thanks anyway" and continued down the line of cars. Well, as the group was leaving grid he yells at me to grab a helmet and meet him after a couple of laps. Sure enough, he pulled back into pit lane after a couple of minutes and I jumped in. - Rbadboy21 - 05-02-2006 That's pretty awsome that you scored a ride w/ him!! Ya the guy looks like he really knows is shit when it comes to driving, just from watching the videos.....A properly set-up FD can unquestionably scare the shit out of someone who is not used to a light car w/ a lot of horsepower and some of the best handling capabilities ever conceived from Japan.
- Yahosh - 05-04-2006 those are some sweet ass videos! makes me want to buy a FD again... - Rbadboy21 - 05-04-2006 your M3 should be just as fast as a stock FD.. - CaptainHenreh - 05-04-2006 Fritz' FD is very Not Stock. - Rbadboy21 - 05-05-2006 Thanks.....Captain Obvious
