The car made 708 RWHP at 5500 RPM and 13 lbs boost using 93 octane gas. This is a real street car running pump gas. This engine is a 20B Peripheral Port Turbo with custom MPS flatside throttles and MPS eccentric shaft. This combination has a powerband that really bites above 7500 RPM and continues to well past 11,000 RPM. We will keep you posted with the high RPM numbers, where the motor really comes to life.

Holy hell, 708 at the wheels with ONLY 13lbs of boost on pump gas. Thats TT domestic V8 territory. One of you rotary-versed people needs to explain to me how this is possible!

uuuu, can you say... EAR DRUM BREAKER!!! Pretty rediculous, but is it carburated?

11000 rpm.

That means it only has to make 338 lb-feet of torque. Which, while alot, isn't really that much for a turbo 4.0 liter.

And yes ladies and gentlemen, that is the sound of depleating the ozone, wasting ungodly amounts of gas, and having an extreme amount of fun while doing it Smile

i freaking love the way wankels idle. and the redline part is cool too!

And when they come down pit lane, before they get to you there are super quiet, and then they pass and it's a wonderful, glub, glub, glub, glub

- Rbadboy21 - 04-29-2006

Now you all can see how easy it is for someone to get sucked into this beautiful piece of art work that spins @ 8,000 rpm+ Smile
This is how I like to look at the rotary engine: Lighting in a world of thunder...
