Time for new Tires..... - JustinG - 04-25-2006 ok, so the time has come for me to replace these bald ass tires, as soon as i get some money. Im open to suggestions, looking for a good sreet tire, my biggest concern is treadwear but i dont wanna sacrifice traction, i have enough traction problems as is. im looking to spend around $100 per tire, unless someone wants to chip in for me to get some michelines  - christo - 04-25-2006 what size? - JustinG - 04-25-2006 sorry 235/45/17 - Andy - 04-25-2006 BF Goodrich G-Force Sports. I use them as my track tire. TheyÔÇÖre good sticky tires but on track, they heat up pretty quick and start to slide a bit. I havenÔÇÖt driven on them much on the street but they seem pretty nice and it carries a 300 tread rating. Also most importantly, they are only ~75 bucks a tire. Fuzions seem to get good reviews but it poops on us smaller tire tires. - JustinG - 04-25-2006 whered you get em for $75? tire rack has em for $95, or it could just be cause its a larger tire. How are they wearing??? - ScottyB - 04-25-2006 i like my avon M550's. they are more street oriented but they're pretty darn sticky and the rain traction is retarded. plus, they're not very pricy IMO. if i could do it again, i'd look at michy pilot exaltos, but at the time i didn't have the money for them. - Sijray21 - 04-25-2006 http://www.vulcantire.com/ze512_t.htm - $75/ea - 30k expectancy http://www.vulcantire.com/h4s_t.htm - $108/ea - 60k expectancy i like the yokohama's actually, i had the regular H4's on a set of wheels a long time ago and was pleasantly surprised. They were more comfortable then sporty though. - Dave - 04-25-2006 i like my fuzions a lot. Rain tread is pretty good and they have pretty good dry traction too. I have them on the 240, SE-R, and supra, all of which see track and autoX time. They definitely aren't the best tires evAr, but for the price they make an awesome multi-purpose tire. - JustinG - 04-25-2006 any other suggestions??? - Feersty - 04-25-2006 http://www.edgeracing.com/tires/2354517/ Cheap as hell dood. I got Falken Azenis st 117 for 317$ shipped, great people and prompt shipment to boot. - JustinG - 04-26-2006 heres what im looking at so far http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=AVID+H4S for $102 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=BFGoodrich&tireModel=g-Force+Sport for $95 http://www.edgeracing.com/tire/1704/ for $87 http://www.edgeracing.com/tire/2476/ for $107 http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires.jsp?tireMake=Yokohama&tireModel=AVID+H4S for $102 Leaning toward the BFGs though, lemme know yalls opinions...thanks for the input - Feersty - 04-26-2006 I like the Hankook Ventus' tread pattern.. - .RJ - 04-26-2006 Feersty Wrote:I like the Hankook Ventus...
