For Sale---MAGAZINES! - CaptainHenreh - 04-21-2004 Hundreds of issues of European Car, Roundel, Automobile, and a bunch of BWM/Audi/Saab/WV/Volvo sales brochures and random crap. 1.50 an issue, or 4 for 5. Just let me know when you want to come to the Cave to sort through it. There's boxes and boxes, and I want to get rid of them, since I didn't buy a Corrado.
- Mike - 04-21-2004 Uhhh, I give away my old magazines. Honestly, nobody is going to buy them and they're just going to keep collecting dust. - CaptainHenreh - 04-21-2004 yeah, I know. But there's some really cool old stuff here.... Okok, I need money for my 5 lug swap. Thought I'd give it a try. I can dream, can't I? ![]() If someone would enjoy them, they can come get them. I've pretty much read them all, but reading about a BMW 2002 or some broke 914 has lost it's flavor. Ooh! I also have complete years of car and driver. I know I have all of 1995, and I think I have '94 too. - .RJ - 04-21-2004 We should all chip in and bonfire them
- CaptainHenreh - 04-21-2004 Yeah, I probably should burn most of it. But some of it is worth keeping. A 1995 issue of BMW magazine has a huge section (appropriately) on the M3, which is awesome, and then there's the original 8 Series brochure that I sometimes get out from underneath my mattress and.......... - Mike - 04-21-2004 hehehe. i used to tell myself mags were worth keeping. then i realized that was dumb when i had accumulated boxes upon boxes. - .RJ - 04-21-2004 MichaelJComputer Wrote:hehehe. i used to tell myself mags were worth keeping. then i realized that was dumb when i had accumulated boxes upon boxes. I did the same thing. Then I realized I hadnt looked at them since they went in the box 5 years ago. - Evan - 04-22-2004 Race Car Engineering is worth keeping. GRM is sometimes. I was pissed when my roomate threw away all my GRMs and my small collection of Race Car Engineering. (those things are $8 a mag!) - Mike - 04-22-2004 Agreed, I keep my GRM since they have actual tech in it. Never know what you may be driving a few years down the line
- Dave - 04-22-2004 you mean like going from a Honda to a BMW? |
