Riders wanted - keep this one clean of shit talking - Han - 04-16-2006

Okay...once again, the who wanna ride thread....lets keep this strictly as a "recruiting riders" thread, dont let my f'ing thread turn into shit again.

So, for those that like to ride or want to ride with a grp, feel free to contact me anytime. We ride basically everyday. On wkns we typically have a pretty decent size grp, this includes people from JMU, Bridgewater, and local townies.

Our main goal is not to terrorize the streets of Hburg, just a grp of people that like to ride, enjoy talking shit about our bikes, and make fun of each other.

Only post if you are interested or have suggestions on routes/places to go.

No talk of jackassery allowed!(until we meet in person)

For those squids like myself, dont say nothing dumb, and for people that are concerned with us new people discrediting the organization please try not to lecture us on safety as we are all adults and we are all aware of our own actions.

Thanks!

haha is that lube?

i was out on 33east just the other day and it was great, nice smooth pavement all the way through the mountain.

i was actually thinking of doing 211 (already programmed the GPS) based on this video i found : http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid ... 51&pl=true

- Han - 04-18-2006

Careful with 211 - a lot of the DC guys head down there and there are often tons of cops. When you do run into them the are not friendly at all. There have been a lot of accidents/deaths on that road in the past few years and the cops do not want bikers there at all, so its probably best to stay away.

- Han - 04-18-2006

RJ - Thx for the info, very useful. Yeah, that road look pretty brutal in that video, i bet it would be fun tho.... damn...I guess we will just have to stick to 33east/west , 11, and 42 and whatever else we have around here.

- .RJ - 04-18-2006

I just watched the vid - thats pretty much why they dont like the bikes up there Smile

- junooni - 04-18-2006

yoo han that vid looks so much fun....and i think its kinda easier than 33 west since it got long sweepers....wanna go try it out this weekend...kill the chiken strips for sure....u up for it ross???

- derilict - 04-19-2006

Yeah 211 is DEF. loads of fun, I've ridden it at speed both directions (over and back). If you get cranking you will def. lose your chicken strips, it's a fun ride. Not trying to sound like a dickhead here, but if you aren't totally comfortable and totally capable on your machine, 211 will bite you in the ass, no b.s.

Unfortunatly .RJ is right; they actually had a local cop/state cop TASK FORCE to catch bikers going over 211. Can you belive that? Like we'll dealing crack to 5 year olds. I wouldn't have believed it other than I read it in the c'ville newspaper a while back. If you guys go, be careful.

- derilict - 04-19-2006

Wow. FYI I posted my above words BEFORE I read the locked piss-fest thread. I just don't really feel like getting yelled at.

- Feersty - 04-19-2006

I am here to talk shit, don't squid it up on, 211, n00bs.

Wink

yea make sure your tags insp are up to date, people seriously get harassed up there

that vid isnt 211. Those guys are on the west side of the mountain off 33 coming east.
