Ew ew ew! - Mike - 04-06-2006 So I saw a new Saleen Mustang yesterday. I couldn't stop laughing at how hideous it was. Anyone else seen one? The rear looks like an f'ing Foreman Grill:
- Evan - 04-06-2006 saw one a couple months ago. It looked pretty good. I didnt like the grille but the overall stance of the car was nice - Goodspeed - 04-06-2006 The main problem with the new Mustang styling wise is that it just plain wasn't built for bodykits. The stock lines look fine, add a chin spoiler and ducktail rear and you're set. The car just looks like a tank when you fully kit it out, and is almost as heavy as one. And that is why I will always prefer, and miss, this one: - Evan - 04-06-2006 now that looks hideous - ScottyB - 04-06-2006 Mike, i drive by one like that everyday on the way home, but it's in black....looks pretty good actually. probably because the black takes away from the "flame broiler grillin" part on the back - Goodspeed - 04-06-2006 Really? I love it to death ![]() but here ya go....
- JustinG - 04-06-2006 saw one in the burg at the begining of the year, i dont think it was a true Saleen but you can get a Saleen stang with just the body kit. It was White by the way. - white_2kgt - 04-06-2006 white97dsm Wrote:saw one in the burg at the begining of the year, i dont think it was a true Saleen but you can get a Saleen stang with just the body kit. It was White by the way. A 'saleen stang' w/ a body kit is the base saleen. That's the only way they are sold, unless you buy it and install it yourself. Personally I've never been a fan of any of the aftermarket body kits. - Andy - 04-06-2006 white_2kgt Wrote:Personally I've never been a fan of any of the aftermarket body kits. +1 except some widebody kits. They're kinda cool. - Sijray21 - 04-06-2006 i've never really been a mustang fan, but this isn't that bad IMO ![]()
- Feersty - 04-06-2006 Where the turn signals go? Just not feeling it. I love what looks like a completely glass roof. - Mike - 04-06-2006 the rear is the laughable part. i agree, the front looks pretty good. did somebody say aftermarket body kit? holla @ ya widebody!
- Jeff - 04-06-2006 It knocks out the fat... - Sijray21 - 04-06-2006 Mike Wrote:did somebody say aftermarket body kit? holla @ ya widebody! too soon Junior...you're not ready for racewarz - Mike - 04-06-2006 sooo biiiiig! think of the tires! think of them! - Andy - 04-06-2006 Widebody corrado is where it's at. - HAULN-SS - 04-06-2006 i just threw up in my mouth a little bit. - white_2kgt - 04-06-2006 Andy Wrote:white_2kgt Wrote:Personally I've never been a fan of any of the aftermarket body kits. this one is my favorite, ![]() ![]() Yes, all carbon fiber, fenders, quarters, doors, bumpers and side molding. The entire body kit is around 7k-10k. The doors weigh 7.4oz hock:
- G.Irish - 04-06-2006 The driver of that car (Carol Holfelder) is actually a parapeligic(sp?). She posts on the Speed Channel sports car forum from time to time in addition to the WC forum. I think the new Saleen looks fine except for the fugtacular derriere. I like the old Saleen mo better. - Feersty - 04-06-2006 S2000 is gross! |
