Yo yo,
This is for all you who are pretty familiar.
Driving at higher speeds today (70pmh) i noticed slight vibration in the steering wheel. I remember that the tech person at the last auto-x said that my passenger side wheel bearing is a little loose. Could this be the cause? i have almost 110K miles on this Civic, so i'm guessing that could be the case. What do you guys think. i just got new wheels and tires, so they should be properly balanced. The front rotors also need to be changed in the summer, but the vibrations weren't caused by braking.
Just wanted to know your opinions.

that is probably the problem, but make sure you check the torque on your lugs too. With new wheels, the paint on the lug contact point causes the lugs to loosen until the paint wears off. A loose lug can cause vibration

which can cause you to nearly lose a wheel when going down the rollercoaster at VIR... d'oh

you havent' flat spotted the tires have you? I'm still feeling a slight vibration at high speeds from when I did that.

Unstake the axle nut, loosten and re-torque it (135 ft-lbs).
Swap the tires front to rear to see if the vibration changes.
Bad wheel bearings on honduhs is usually associated with some noise (low, groaning noise that gets louder with vehicle speed).

I put the stockers back on for a while and no vibrations on the highway.
I'm thinking the wheels were not correctly balanced now.
There isn't any unusual noise coming from anywhere so i think the wheel bearing is alright for now. Guys think it could be from incorrect balancing. Also note that these guys put the tires on backwards and were hesitant to fix the problem.
