Ok folks.
I graduate in May, and I think that, as much as I want to go to grad school, I think that it might be a little more important to find a job to pay for it with.
About me:
My graduation in May will be the third academic degree I have received, a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management, from Bridgewater College. Previously, I had received two Associates of Applied Science, one in Network Administration, and one in Information Technology Maintenance and Repair.
I am a reasonably proficient programmer in Visual Basic, and I am an...adequate programmer of C++. (Mostly because I find C a boring, poorly designed committee language that doesn't do anything well.) I am personable and intelligent, and I assimilate information very quickly in most circumstances.
I am a very analytical person, and can often see beyond problems to alternative solutions and strategies. I work very well with both machines and people, and yet make the very important distinction between the two.
What I am looking for: A full time job, working in the IT field, somewhere in Northern VA. If I can find something close to Fredericksburg, near my brother, then all the better, but if not, that's fine. I am not afraid of entry level work, and I would prefer to work, naturally, for a Gov. office, but I'm not afraid of contractors, either.
What I do not want to do: I am not a programmer. I find programming boring. I can do testing, if nessecary, and I *can* program, but I won't do a very good job. I just know that about myself.
If anyone knows of anything that they can point me in the direction of, I would be in your debt.

That'd be great. I like Charlottesville. You have something in mind?
What I'd honestly like to do is take JMU's InfoSec Masters online, so I can do that anywhere.
What's important is to get a job to pay for it, and move to a place where Julie can use her degree too.

come to cville. theres lots of place for jobs to be had. you can work at UVA, state farm ins headquarters is here, NGIC (where i work), IIHS (insurance institute of highway safety) is just north of here to name a few places. i think CDOC is also expanding its operation and opening a huge warehouse in gordonsville sometime soon as well, and i'm sure they're gonna need help.

I use those on all my applications. I worked at kroger, started off as a 'bascart retrieval engineer.' Later moved on to a 'distribution engineer for a multi-million dollar company.'
I brought buggies in from outside and then I worked in the office.
