Thanks for the help - Hunter - 04-18-2004

I'd like to thank all you guys who helped out at the show, it's greatly appreciated. And Boobies, you did a hell of a job preparing for the show, and it showed in how professional it was. I think this year the show was bumped up to another level and we'll be able to build off it next year to make the car show an event that people in the enthusiast community look forward to. Anyway, thanks again everyoneÔÇÖs work is greatly appreciated, now who wants to go to PTG.

What's PTG? Tongue

Agreed, awesome job this year folks!

Yes it was fun.

Nice work Boobies

most excellent job Chris and thanks to all the members and OGs for helping out and ensuring its success. Together we made the best MM car show yet and set a new standard for the future.

Thanks guys, i appreciate it. Now my big thanks to everyone else! Everyone put many hours into this show and it really paid off. Dave, great party and thanks for all that work. I'm looking forward to next year!

any suggestions from other members and those who attended? we know some of the changes from the "inside," but I'd like to hear from a spectator's view what could be better.

What a fantastic show, I was extremely impressed and had an absolute blast.

Here is some constructive feedback/suggestions:
#1!!!!: No profanity in music played. There was a good amount of this and it there were families with little kids there.
#2: Give credit to sponsors! I didnt hear who some of the oil changes etc. were donated by
#3: Trophies. Would be nice if we could give trophies, since the people who are showing their car like to also show off what they have won. Although this is probably a funds issue, so it may not have been possible.

An idea my friend Garret brought up that I shared with Mike and Chris. Next year, for the first place winners, give them free entrance into next years show. Just a way to keep people coming back.

- ScottyB - 04-18-2004

i had a chance to go through all the pics, and it looks like we had a very solid show. to the O's and OG's, thanks and great work, and to all the members, thanks for the support.

Work with other genres of automobiles, for example:
Classic cars (big turnout potential)
4x4 clubs (get some jacked up CJÔÇÖs, have a suspension flex test/demo, etc)
Get a dyno
I liked the idea of having the motorcycle club there, good job
Lay it out like a mall, with the biggest attractions at either end, and an attraction in the middle, to keep people walking back and forth
Have a wireless mike and an MC that roams around, talks to people about their cars, promotes the sponsors, etc
Have someone come on for concessions ÔÇô these people pay rent to set up their trailers
Have one place on this form for planning. It was spred out over at least two threds this time, and it got a little confusing. In that one thread, the day before the show, post a schedule of who is doing what and by what time it needs to be done.
Perfect the "peoples choice" voting system. For example, make sure there are several boxes were poeple can place their votes.

Don't misunderstand, the show was awesome! These are just some of my constructive suggestions.
