So...i decided on my bike... - Sijray21 - 03-13-2006

I bought this bike earlier today and rode it home from Silver Spring. I LOVE this thing. 1500 miles and not a scratch on her. She was laid down gently on grass - small cracked fairing, but the owner used bondo and painted the part ( i would have never guess it if he didn't point it out ).

This bike has on right now a yellow/chrome windshield and is lowered 1". The puchase came with a Brand New Dunlop rear tire (the one on the bike is plugged), original windshield, original Dogbone (rear ride height), tank bag, and a bunch of tools/screws/etc. The seller was very honest about things and was very sad to see the bike go. I assured him that i will take great care of this bike.

It's a stock pipe. The previous owner put the fender eliminator kit and added the short signals for the front and back. These things are BRIGHT when they flash. So far my only goal for this thing in the immediate future is to replace that rear tire, flush the radiator, bleed the brakes, buy a disc lock, and start getting my ride on. Big Grin

What is it with the RR craze as of late?

Beautiful bike Jay, now ride the 3 minutes to my house so I can take a look at it!

- scottcj - 03-14-2006

awesome bike...looks like you got a good deal there

- mrbaggio - 03-14-2006

Nice one jayray. Welcome to the RR fold.

Are you going to bring it back to its orignal height? We should ride each others bikes to see how different it feels. I hear it makes the bike handle differently.

I just copied Baggio and Sameer. Took me a while to find a good bike for a fair deal. I know i could've gotten an easier bike to ride (actually this is pretty easy to ride) and i could've paid a lot less than what i did, but this was one of those things that i just really wanted. As of right now i'm very happy with the purchase!

that's also what i heard - we'll try it. I now know how uncomfortable it really is: 40 minute ride home and my back was definitely hurting - i'll need to learn to ride properly on this thing. This thing WILL see track time as well....

- .paul - 03-14-2006

get ready for may 6th - Summit Jefferson through nesba!

- Sijray21 - 03-14-2006

SAMEER HERE!

Jay, you have your signiture listing your bike as an 03, but im pretty sure it's an 04. Isn't it?

If so, man you're dumb.
