The New Dunlop qualifier - junooni - 03-01-2006 Here is the link for the review article on the new 209 "qualifier" http://www.2wf.com/articles/gear/A1ABF7D4-EDE5-4725-95B0-ABCF7ED48971.asp Supposidly this the best tire out there...motogp style street tires... Now my question is i already have a 208 set of dunlop on my bike,....my rear is all gone...but my front is still there...90% left.....so do u guys think i can get the 209 on the back and keep 208 on the front.....they say that 209 has much more grip than the 208....would this difference in rear and front would make it difficult to ride or can it be dangerous by ny means.... - derilict - 03-05-2006 dude, the way your crazy ass rides, i don't think it would matter one way or the other. hahaha. i personally wouldn't use miss-matched tires if i didn't have to. but, IMHO 208's suck, so who knows. i'll be back in da' burg tmr, i'll hit you up. booooooozzze. - scottcj - 03-05-2006 Just go with Pilot Powers. Let the Dunlops get rid of any teething problems they may have and then go for them later if you really want. - .paul - 03-06-2006 pilot powers FTW - derilict - 03-06-2006 From first hand experience......... I 3rd that notion Pilot Powers... they're just badass Pilot powers - Han - 03-07-2006 I don't know jack about bikes but i like PP too. - junooni - 03-08-2006 aigh i guess pilot powers it is..i called the guy today i ordered my aualifier from ...he switched the order since he hadn't shipped it yet....if i crash im comin after u mofo's....ths tire better stick.....lol - derilict - 03-13-2006 dude, if you can't ride w/ pilot powers you have no business on two wheels........ but then again......... hahahaha |
