I was listening to Elliott in the Morning on the radio today and they were talking about this police impersonator in the MD area. Apparently he has posted in some online forums bragging how he pulls into the fast lane and cuts off motorcyclists when they pass in the left lane going "too fast." He has mentioned a couple riders have crashed due to his view of taking the law into his own hands.
Apparently he owns a police car supply business, and he drives a blue crown vic with lights in the grill and on the roof. basically a look-a-like cop car. I'm just putting this out there to look out for you guys. Look in some of the DC sport bike forums and see if you can find more info!

basically they cleared up another John M. Parks that was being threatened and isolated this guy. The assailant is basically accusing the complainants (riders) of false accusations ruining his reputation. He sent Elliot an email saying this and requesting the information about the people that have called. Apparently he's getting people coming to his house and his business, calls, emails, and a slue of other things. One thing i didn't know is that Elliot is a rider.
Elliot basically called him a)an idiot for posting that he ran over bikes or b)an evil person that deserves his up-comings if he's actually doing this. There was much dispute as to whether he was just posting that he did this to be funny (everyone also decided that this wasn't funny) or whether he did this / doing this and is denying it. He compared doing this to aiming your car at pedestrians and hitting them.
One caller called-in and said that her friend was hit from behind at a stop light from a guy who "didn't like motorcycles". Appalling IMO. Just more stories and opinions on that guy. There was also a consensus that the motorcycle community is tight-knit community (which i agree now that i'm apart of it).

So Elliot was helping out a different john that was not involved at all, but was catching flak for it? They did not confirm or deny that someone out there is doing this to bikers tho?

naw, he wanted to clarify that this John wasn't the one and that people should stop harrassing him and such. It's also on the top of the hatred page for this guy.
No confirmation that this is actually happening to the bikers though. There may have been a few people that have claimed to have this happen, but i don't think there is any actual proof of this happening.
