The nicest RX7 in America today - Goodspeed - 02-15-2006 I know some of you have the idea of getting an FD, so I thought I'd share this view of perfection..what every RX7 should aspire to be To quote the owner.... "The car is a low mileage, original paint silver 95 (one of 500 in that final year of production) with a build date of 12/95 and I have attempted to accumulate OEM parts off a 2002 RX-7, which were only sold in the Japanese market . The wheels are OEM Mazda custom forged by BBS (they are almost like the BBS RG-R model but with a custom offset and finish), and the seats are made of a carbon-kevlar weave and made for Mazda by Recaro. Both the seats and wheels only came on Spirit-R 'Type-A' RX-7s which represented the final run of FDs in the summer of 2002." ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
- Feersty - 02-15-2006 He also invested a lot in his camera. Unbelievable shots! - Dave - 02-15-2006 Feersty Wrote:He also invested a lot in his camera. Unbelievable shots!tru that! That truly is a gorgeous example of an FD and probably the best pictures I have ever seen. PM that dude and find out what camera he is using. - Goodspeed - 02-15-2006 He said they are leftover shots from a professional studio photoshoot he did for a clothing company, they used front shots for their advertising. I'll try to find out what camera they used EDIT: He said its some camera bought in Japan that cost 16k dollars. He'll try to get me the specific brand - Mike - 02-15-2006 any prosumer camera can take those shots... what is money is the car and the studio that they had. - ViPER1313 - 02-15-2006 Lighting is everything. All are excellent photos except for the last - way too washed out on the front bumper. Very cool shots 8) . - Mike - 02-15-2006 shit, even a crappy handheld camera can take those pics... peoples, camera is little to nothing in the world of photo. that is, unless you want to take pics of moving racecars, which you need a pretty serious camera for. - Ryan T - 02-16-2006 Mike Wrote:shit, even a crappy handheld camera can take those pics... peoples, camera is little to nothing in the world of photo. that is, unless you want to take pics of moving racecars, which you need a pretty serious camera for. I really like your camera Mike. It did a very nice job of taking pictures of moving cars at Summit. - Mike - 02-16-2006 yeah, well to do that you need to spend a lot of mone. i was sick of blurry cars, i was getting a great deal, and i jumped on it my point was that awesome still pictures can be taken with even the cheapest of digital cameras.
- Rbadboy21 - 02-16-2006 very nice FD indead. It's funny cause my brother told me to check these pics out on the rx7 forum and I was very surprised when he said that he would consider trading his for this silver one, lol. I love the Spirit R wheels and seats. Just to fill you guys in, each of those seats cost around $1500. And god knows how much those wheels cost. I love the v-mount too, very clean Ryan - JohnC - 02-16-2006 I deleted that other repost in the Lounge. This is the place for pics like those anyhow... - JackoliciousLegs - 02-22-2006 purrrrfect... only it needs a rear spoiler. Then it just might have to be my ideal dream car of a lifetime/century in my dreams ohmygod ohmygod ohmygod UUUUUGGGHH. |
