Is that a competitive kart? Does Woodbridge have a class for it? Would I have a chance of beign competitive considering I'm 6'2, 180?

That has been for sale for a while, I chatted with the guy briefly. It seems to be a decent kart. Uses a 4 stroke briggs engine, which are the slowest karts, but very popular in this area.
I considered buying it, but I would much rather have a KT100 powered kart

If you wanted to get into karting I'd recommend the 100cc Yamahas like Evan said. Those have 20-30 hp so you're not going to be penalized quite as heavily on weight. They also have different weight classes for the Yamaha 100's.
The Yamaha 100 kart that is really popular with the WKA guys at SP is the laydown type (like GQRob's). For sprint karts (sit up) there are two tracks in Maryland, then Beaverun, then NY. Evan and I will probably check out a sprint kart event or two this season in MD.
My biggest problem with karting is that its very fragmented and convoluted and even more of a secret than road racing is.

Yamaha 100cc sprint karts cost around $2500-3500 used, naturally more new. I'm not 100% sure on weight, not even close to what a sport bike weighs for sure. Go to ekartingnews.com for more info.
