Nexen Tires? - D_Eclipse9916 - 02-13-2006 Has anybody tried these tires? - Evan - 02-13-2006 never heard of them doesnt mean they are bad, just unknown. Falkens were unknown when the legendary Azenis 215 was released - Mike - 02-13-2006 with a max speed of 200mph they've gotta be awesome! i too have not ever heard of them. sporting a treadwear rating of 340 i don't think they can have much grip. - white_2kgt - 02-13-2006 Mike Wrote:with a max speed of 200mph they've gotta be awesome! i too have not ever heard of them. sporting a treadwear rating of 340 i don't think they can have much grip. That's weird, They have the same temp and Traction as an RA1 but over 300% more treadwear... - Mike - 02-13-2006 white_2kgt Wrote:Mike Wrote:with a max speed of 200mph they've gotta be awesome! i too have not ever heard of them. sporting a treadwear rating of 340 i don't think they can have much grip. the temp and traction values mean nothing in regard to cornering ability. - PDenbigh - 02-13-2006 Temp and Treadware are general really. It's one of those "anything above X gets an A or a double A". - Mike - 02-13-2006 Well, treadwear is a percentage over (or under) the number of miles it takes for the tread to be gone compared to some test tire. Temp is the tire's ability to dissipate heat (seems a bit more arbitrary). Traction is the tire's ability to stop a vehicle in a straight line on a wet pavement. All very silly if you ask me

Not so much a changing of the HP, just the way it was measured. - Evan - 02-13-2006 CaptainHenreh Wrote:Didn't that come with the new SAE ratings? Just like the "185 horsepower" Tiberon. What a fiasco. - Mike - 02-13-2006 oh quit getting off topic. my entire point was to say to chad "so?" - white_2kgt - 02-13-2006 Mike Wrote:oh quit getting off topic. my entire point was to say to chad "so?" I think I was finding more humor in it than tech. But I guess even that went over your 6'-2" head... - Mike - 02-13-2006 my head isn't 6'2" - white_2kgt - 02-13-2006 Mike Wrote:my head isn't 6'2" the way you talk on this board everyone thinks it's that wide though... - Mike - 02-14-2006 :?: - JustinG - 02-14-2006 u usin these for auto X or simply DD? if DD go for em. i just remeber you sayin something bout some track wheels, not sure which your looking for though. - Jeff - 02-14-2006 I think he needs some new DD tires and a few rims  love u DJ, ur a trip - Feersty - 02-14-2006 TurboOmni08 Wrote:I think he needs some new DD tires and a few rims  love u DJ, ur a trip Story to come.
