New Goodies - BLAIR - 02-12-2006 What i turned my hard earned money form working over X mas break. hopefully ill be getting this parts in ASAP.. will make the 240 a lot better ![]() New Falkens for the GTI loved the old ones and needed tires ![]() Kaaz 2 Way LSD for the 240 ![]() Front Mount intercooler kit for the 240 ![]() Kinda a cheezy seat. i hate red but it was crazy good deal.. for the 240 too cause the stock seats SUCK Also got a greddy profec B boost controller so i can turn up the boost once the fmic is on. - Goodspeed - 02-12-2006 Nice! Your 240 looks very well done, can't wait to see it with the FMIC on. What have you done to it already? I know you have the SR20det swapped in and have the Panasport (looking) wheels, very nice car man - G.Irish - 02-13-2006 What are your power goals for the 240? Is the intercooler in anticipation of a bigger turbo or just more boost with stock turbo? Gonna be getting deeper into drifting this year? - Nis01 - 02-13-2006 Nice parts Blair. That 240 is really coming along beautifully. Can't wait to see it with all the new goodies. Also interested in the future plans of this car. - BLAIR - 02-13-2006 how the sr20 is you can not turn up the boost at all with the stock sidemount little ass intercooler. So the boost is at a lame stock 7 lbs. with this intercooler i will be able to turn it up to a bar ( about 15lbs ) So as for right now I just want more power so thats why the intercooler was needed. future plans are ... who knows????? all depends on how much i work or how much money i can come across. as of now im about cleaned out so this will be it for now and for a while. I would love to get a bigger turbo eventually (gt28rs) or something of that sort.. but i think i will be happy for now. like i said its all about my money situation. the intercooler will support a bigger turbo no problem I built this car to drift it. I got addicted with my AE86 and that reasons for building this car was because i wanted more power out of a drift car. So as soon as the LSD is in Ill be getting into as many drift events as possible. As of now the car has a basic sr20 det motor swap with lightened flywheel and stage 3 clutch. 3 inch turboback exhaust. JIC coilovers camber plates etc etc. Tien tie rods. some pimpin wheels. Cusco motor mounts. greddy hotpipe with type s BOV. some gauges inside, blah blah blah.. all the normal stuff. you can actually check out the pics from the whole buildup this summer. CHECK EM OUTTT http://www.homegrownmotorsports.com/gallery/Project-240 - Dave - 02-13-2006 Blair. I need a ride, stat. Gimme a ring if you want a hand putting the goodies on. - Goodspeed - 02-13-2006 BLAIR Wrote:I would love to get a bigger turbo eventually (gt28rs) Disco Potato? - WRXtranceformed - 02-13-2006 Awesome dude, I anticipate this car's progression as well =) |
