You'll see plenty of the car come Sebring. Too bad there's no competition in LMP1 right now. Maybe if Emperor Bernie and Mad Max piss off the manufacturers in Formula 1 enough they'll spend their millions on making Le Mans Prototypes instead.

Can't say I really want that to happen but I'd love to see Audi have someone to play with. Cool to see them going diesel, I hope we'll see a few bio-diesels finish the 24 this year.

cool vid. Can't wait to see more car!

So I visited Audi's page about the car hoping to see how much power that things makes and I was kind of underwhelmed. They say "exceeding" 650HP and 1100NM torque (~811ft/lbs). 5.5 Liters. I guess they'll never be too forward with their real #'s, but heck, a 5.9L Cummins can make that HP and MUCH more torque at the same time without much work. Of course it weighs as much as a train.... so is being all aluminum the limiting factor of the R10? Anyone seen big #'s out of other modern aluminum diesels like the 5L in the Touareg or some Mercedes thing?
