SOLD: 92 Nissan Sentra SE-R - Dave - 01-30-2006 Alright boys, it is ready to be sold. There's a couple things left that I'm going to try to take care of, but for the most part this is done. I originally bought this car with the intention of making it into my daily driver and track whore. Instead, I picked up my 91 for a lot cheaper and decided that was the one I wanted to keep. It has a clean title. I have a carfax on it: this was also spotless, although for some reason it says the odometer exceeds the mechanical limits on the car. I have put ~300 miles on the car since I purchased it. I have not titled it and intend to just sign the title over to the buyer. This would be a terrific beginner car for anybody, or an awesome car to drive around town that is actually fun to drive while still getting you close to 30 mpg. The bad: -no headliner -seats have stains -157,180 miles on chassis -needs a good paint job -sunroof motor works, but not extremely well (better than my 91 though )-driver's rear caliper needs a new bleeder nipple (has been bled but the nipple itself is corroded and malfunctioning) -no paperwork on the car prior to my ownership The Good, if you are still reading: -as far as I know, everything works on this car, the fog light relay works, just needs bulbs and lenses (I used the ones that were on my car, which sadly appears to have a blown relay )-real JDM engine replaced at approx. 85k miles= higher compression, no EGR crap, better intake manifold -zero rust in any common problem areas (rocker panels and door jambs), although there is a tiny patch on the driver's side door -no 5th gear pop and smooth shifting transmission -doors don't sag -new 02 sensor and spark plugs -300zx fuel filter -cruise control works like a charm -cone intake (sounds pretty mean too compared to my lame stock 91) -very strong compression (160/150/150/155) -replaced the windshield (previous had a crack across the bottom) -full brake flush -oil change -replaced one of the cables attached to the E-brake (actual mechanism still needs to be adjusted to engage, just haven't gotten the chance to do it) -ton of extra shit including: random stereo goodies, full set of stock wheels with some tires, extra set of stock front rotors, 2 extra sets of pads -previous owner claimed that it dyno'ed at 124 whp, whick is quite strong for an essentially stock JDM engine, lots of potential here. $1650 This is literally what I have in this car, plus the extra goodies. Awesome deal, IMO. Pics: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
- JohnC - 01-30-2006 Very tempting. - lyltoy - 01-30-2006 i'm interested, Dave i'll get in touch with you.... - CaptainHenreh - 01-30-2006 No joke about the intake manifold, either. I compared them side-by-side on Jason's (Kafn8ed) NX2000, and it's like night and day. The JDM manifold has got smooth, large runners with no EGR shit at all. Vacuum lines are 100% better, there's only like 3 vacuum lines in the entire engine bay. Although, it may or may not have higher compression. Some JDM motors had 10:1 compression as opposed to 9:1, it used to be thought (even by me) that all of them were like that, but it just ain't so. Euro motors, on the other hand... Anyway, point is, great car for a great price. Period. - lyltoy - 02-02-2006 Hey Dave, if you are available any time this weekend I would love to come take a look at it...I am currently trying to come up with the funds. You can either let me know here or shoot me an IM (lyltoy4u). Thanks, Jusitn - JohnC - 02-09-2006 Dave - this still for sale? - Dave - 02-10-2006 yeah, it's still for sale, though Justin has called first dibs and is trying to work out the logistics right now... - lyltoy - 02-28-2006 dave, you have a PM. - Dave - 06-15-2006 sold |
