talked to all my boys back home..and heres what it sounds like what is commin down for sat.

2 r32 skylines
few high HP supras
2 silvia converted 240's
600hp is300
450hp s4
handfull of GTI's
300whp civic piece but fast
turbo m3
etcetc

hopefully they arent faking and are really comming

Whats the point of coming? I dont get it. Doesnt cost much to put the car in, and you might win something. It isnt a big show, and you dont need a custom paint job and stereo install to pick up a prize. Our first year a '84 Rabbit GTi won the 'peoples choice' award!

humm lets see.... check out the cars... meet people into cars... basically its an excuse for alot of us to get together in one place and chill..does that answer you question?? ...i mean if we arent showing and your not interested in us commin by then by all means we wont even stop by and check it out. but thats not what i want.

What I meant to say was, that if you're making the trip down, why not enter in the show? Smile We'd love to have the cars in there!

My theory on mountain runs (or excessive speeding or street racing) is that the first time you get busted doing anything really dumb, track days suddenly look really cheap. I've been there. No tickets in 3.5 years now.

me and my freinds are pretty smart when it comes to driving on the street.. i dont support street racing or excessive speeding. and i have gotta my share of tickets in the past too and i have done my share of track days too. but now being in school i cant afford track days and im not to worried about being busted for anything stupid cause im pretty smart about it.

to me nothing beats rolling out on a nice sunny day on some awesome roads with a bunch of nice cars.

That I can agree with Smile Unfortunately, it seems most of these guys with fast cars in the NoVa area dont see it that way. Especially the Tekademics (sp?) group.

ahhh look at you steriotyping all the NOVA people with hooked up cars hahahhahaah.. naw i totally know where your comming from. im not some 18 year old kid with a nice car that mommy and daddy paid for. i apreciate all cars and know how to be smart with them. but there are alot of people (expecially in the nova area) that are stupid as hell.

i think dustin and dado are comming the the turbo m3 (they are personal freinds on mine). well if he comes ill make sure there are no massive burn outs or drifting throgh the lots

but hey.. they make shit loads of money and get tons of free parts for making their vids.. i agree they do drive like asses alot of the time but thats them...

Nothing wrong with hanging around the crowd, but unfortunately where there's smoke there's usually fire Wink I did a karting league with Porsche club but that doesnt make me a pompous prick compensating for shortcomings in other areas (stereotype). Tongue

I just dont like the street jackassery that seems to be glorified by them - i've seen alot of the videos floating around on the net - like street racing up I-270 in traffic. A lot of the kids that think thats the shizzle dizzle and replicate those disasters.

I saw the turbo M3 at a few track days earlier this year - hopefully he's moved on to smarter/safer things off the street. He seemed to have his head on straight on track and did pretty well when I saw him.

good stuff, i hope those guys can make it down. The show should be good and i'm sure that their cars will get noticed regardless if their in it or not, but we would like to have them enter Big Grin

careful of cops on skyline drive, i was coming back from camping and i got pulled over going 42.....it's a 35 zone, they just gave me a warning though. Usually they're not there, but they're dicks if they are.
