I've been deleting one or two every couple of days. Just ignore them - they aren't ever "activated", so can't post or do anything other than clutter up the member list. - Feersty - 01-17-2006 Can't you delete people that haven't ever posted within the year as well? - JohnC - 01-17-2006 Feersty Wrote:Can't you delete people that haven't ever posted within the year as well? I can delete anyone. Anyone... - Andy - 01-17-2006 JohnC Wrote:Feersty Wrote:Can't you delete people that haven't ever posted within the year as well? I've seen that happen on really large boards before. Ars Technica cleared their forums out a couple of years ago - got rid of all accounts that hadn't been active within the last year or so. I don't see us ever having to worry about it. Although I may try to add some better user registration code to cut down on the bots... - Mike - 01-17-2006 yeah... we're like... not nearly as big as ars technica... at 200ish users, our database isn't really even a database
