Needs bigger wheels.

- ScottyB - 01-08-2006

i'm getting really fed up with the retro designs.

car companies need to forge ahead with classy looks that don't rely on corporate nose jobs, altezza lights and focus groups. really good design is timeless, like the originals these modern day jobbies are based off of.

ps the second picture is pretty freakin hot! hugger orange woo wooo

- Dave - 01-08-2006

i can deal with the orange one, but that 3rd car is fucking hideous.
As for all the new retro "bring back the dead cars for the people looking to buy the last car of their life" bullshit, the only one that I remotely like the look of is the new mustang, and the interior was so awful that I'd have to strip it and redo the dash before I could actually enjoy it.

Edit:Sorry, I'm just getting tired of it. I really do like the new mustang, but was totally unimpressed when I drove the car and the interior offered nothing to me. The exhaust note was pretty hot though :-D. I dont' really like any of the other retro-redos and feel that if you are going to do it, you really can't try to mess with it too much in trying to incorporate the current face of all the rest of your vehicles.

- D_Eclipse9916 - 01-08-2006

Ugly front end, they need the RS package lol. however the backend on the third one finally has those nice muscle car hips.

- Myuki - 01-08-2006

all these new designs are ugly. all these companies need something new, not retro mixed with 2000-whatever.

- Mike - 01-08-2006

are any of those actually from chevy or are they just from photoshop wielding forum junkies?

- HAULN-SS - 01-08-2006

The third one was an actual photo

- Mike - 01-08-2006

ew Sad

- WRXtranceformed - 01-08-2006

That is so freaking ugly, the last one.

I too am tiring of the retro trend. Are car designers that hard up for new / progressive design ideas?

- D_Eclipse9916 - 01-08-2006

Actually the last one is the best out of all of them. I am not into the big grill with huge headlighhts, thats what I always liked the RS package for the 67-69 Camaros.

- HAULN-SS - 01-08-2006

Actually, I just saw a link with more pictures of the last one..apparently stills taken from a GM video

- JackoliciousLegs - 01-09-2006

Yeah, the last one is hideous. The other two are pretty bad as well.

no opinion either way right now...leaning on looking good though

- HAULN-SS - 01-09-2006

yeah..I'm pretty sure I like it...if they made that front grill straight across instead of V shaped, I think it'd be perfect

- Sijray21 - 01-09-2006

i just hope those headlights are HIDs (i feel like the new mustang could've used them after seeing the light output from them)

- Nis01 - 01-09-2006

Its just so plain... Sad It seems similar to the charger and that car just seems to blend in with the rest of the cars on the road. No personality.

- JustinG - 01-09-2006

only one worth looking at is the second one, but it needs the 67 RS hideaway headlights. Although ill take one of chip foose's recreations over it.....
